Hostel pod Skalo

Couldn't be better! Peaceful, beautiful place close to the Kamnik main bus station. The room was really clean and cosy, and the heating worked well. The breakfast was delicious. Definitely, that's the place where you would like to come again.

Very welcoming staff. The B&B Pod Skalo has very good location, 5 min from main bus station and about 7 min from the city center of Kamnik. The small double room that I rented was very clean and cosy, it even had a view on the Alps. There is a dining room and a kitchen downstairs available for guests, including possibility of cooking and storing food in a fridge. The staff walked an extra mile for me and prepared breakfast 30 min earlier than their usuall schedule, so that I could eat something before catching a first buss to Velka Planina. The breakfast was very diverse and also included customized option of warm dish to order. I wholeheartedly recommend B&B Pod Skalo, as it exceeded my expectations.

Very nice and smiling owners who treated us very well. A wonderful, pleasant evening and a delicious breakfast. We will definitely go back there when we are in Slovenia. Best regards👌❤️

Very nice employees! They adapted to all our wishes! Good service to price ratio! Breakfast was excellent, when we wanted to go hiking they made it earlier for us. They serve local food and beer. 5 min to the bus station by foot.

I highly recommend! Beautiful, clean, accessible, comfortable... feels like home. Hosts and employees are incredibly kind, helpful and welcoming. It is so good positioned that you can reach absolutely everything in Slovenia very quickly.

The rooms weren't luxurious or modern, were pretty small, but clean and cozy. The service was superb, breakfasts delicious. Kamnik is a beautiful small town, near Ljubljana and highways, so the location and transportation is pretty good as well. Overall it was really perfect for the price.

First of all, hospitable hosts. Pleasant ambience. A great combination of old and new. clean and tidy. Excellent price/quality ratio. Homemade breakfast with lots of local specialties that you should try. Great location for visiting local attractions. Pet friendly. We visited them several times. Kamnik is an even more beautiful place thanks to them. We recommend it to everyone, especially families with dogs.

It was extremely pleasant stay for three nights. Cosy, small, clean room. Excellent breakfasts and very friendly staff. Thanks to their willingness to be helpful, we’ve found lots of interesting gems of Slovenia and visited them on a rainy day! Wifi was fine, there’s a kitchen downstairs with everything you might need: pans, cutlery, fridge, tea or coffee. The hostel is situated in a very comfortable spot with big free parking.
