I stayed for a couple of days at Ibiza.|The rooms are located on top of a restaurant, there is no smell or noise coming up, just on some nights there is some Brazilian live music but is not too loud and it stops at 11 ( you shouldn't be in bed anyway in canoa before 11).|There is a common area located on a terrace just in front of the main Broadway pedestrian street which is quite pleasant . The Argentinian owner Manuel is quite a pleasant person, always ready to help you in making the best of your stay in canoa.|Unfortunately the positive sides of Ibiza end here.|Rooms are run down, it looks like they never had an update or being fixed for many many years.|The ones with air conditioning have the old model ones that just makes a lot of noise and doesn't really cool down the room, also the filters were very dirty, you could see actual dust and grease building up in the air intake, adding to that there is no glass on the windows ( just wooden slats ) so the little bit of cool air coming from the conditioner goes from the window.|The bathroom door handle was broken , the wood of the door and the humidity of the bathroom made the wood rotten.|The common kitchen is very tiny and all the kitchen pans & utensils are really damaged and greasy.|I wanted to cook something but when I saw the state of the kitchen I opted to go out for dinner every night. |The breakfast wasn't bad, just the really old glasses they use smell and I always had to take others made of glass to be able to drink some juice.||It looks like the management here doesn't really care about the hostel because they gets most of their income from the restaurant downstairs. |It is a shame because the place has a great potential.||||
