This hostel's got a great location, right in the heart of Bilbao, which is super convenient, and the basic breakfast is a nice perk. Plus, the reception guys do try to be friendly. However, that's where the positives end. The lack of curtains on the beds means zero privacy, and the thin blanket was definitely not warm enough for a December stay. To make matters worse, the heater wasn't working, so the room was freezing. Cleanliness was a major issue; there was dust everywhere. I also woke up with a couple of red marks on my arms, which might be bed bug bites – definitely not a pleasant surprise. The water was cold yesterday and this morning, so I checked out without even getting a shower – super annoying. Yeah, it's cheap at €77 for 4 nights, but there's no excuse for the lack of cleanliness, potential bed bugs, broken heater, and basic comforts. They seriously need to pay more attention to cleaning and provide warmer bedding.

The place is okay for the price. The only thing that could definitely be improved is the cleanliness in the bathrooms. Under the showers there was loads of mold which made it pretty disgusting, you need to take flip-flops with you. The positive side of that place is that it is cheap, well located and good for female solo travelers (you can book a female dormitory). There are lockers in the rooms. There is a very basic sweet breakfast included, which is nice. The staff is super friendly and I felt welcomed by them. There is a nice common area on the 5th floor and a terrace. On the ground floor you have a kitchen. Overall, for a few nights not bad.

The location is awesome, you’re a short walk away from the market and several other attractions as well as the tram stop that takes you straight to the Guggenheim. The beds are reasonably comfortable and they have lockers and free breakfast included which for the price is really great. The bathrooms are ok, the showers are not great, you have to leave your stuff in the shared bathroom area or else they’ll get wet which is a bit annoying but not the end of the world. The common spaces are also really great and I think for the price it’s a great deal all round.

The rooms themselves at least my room was very basic. The bed was okay, nothing special. The common area is small and there is a very small rooftop terrace and tv room where you can only watch a handful of channels. The shower was fine, toilet cubicles were VERY small which for a 6’2 guy is not ideal. However the staff are so kind and friendly, they are really helpful and are around most of the day till 10pm to help. Nothing negative to say about them whatsoever. Location is great. 5 min walk to nearest metro stop. Right in the middle of some of the best spots in Old Town. A good spot if you’re walking El Camino or just staying in Bilbao for cheap. Breakfast is included too!

Comfortable check in experience and good air conditioning. The beds were very solid and the lockers were spacious. Just bring a lock and you are good. The only thing that can be better are the toilets as they are small and cramped.

This hostel is right downtown in the old quarter an easy walk from the railway station. The common area is really nice and there was a constant flow of people socializing and such. The little balcony on the roof was really nice also, we took some drinks up there for a while before going out to dinner. Somebody local demonstrated the correct traditional method of opening and consuming the local cider and made a mess in the kitchen, that was pretty fun. Certainly try local cider while in this region, it is really good. There is a lot available in Bilbo. The constant free tea and coffee was a nice touch. In the streets nearby there is a lot of life in the evenings.

The location is good, in the city center, and the staff are friendly. Breakfast is included in the booking and it's quite good, which is a nice bonus. However, the sleeping conditions could be improved. The lower bunk bed felt very claustrophobic due to the limited space, and the mattress was quite short, if you're taller than 170 cm, you'll likely find it uncomfortable.

I enjoyed staying at this hostel. It was exceptionally good value. Staff friendly and helpful. Originally booked 2 nights and ended up staying 5. Nice and peaceful, enjoyed chilling in the kitchen and lounge in the evenings. I don't think I would have liked it as much during peak times. Lockers in room nice and big. It would be good to have curtains for the beds. At busy times, I could imagine a long wait for the shower. Cannot sit up properly in lower bunk, which didn't bother me, because I was only in the bed to sleep. Excellent location in the heart of the old town, with transport links nearby.
