I spent 5 days here and really loved my time. Sandra is a great host who helped me and also all the other guests whilst I was there.
I stayed in a private room which has great wifi in case you need to work whilst travelling (as I did). The bed was really comfy too.
The breakfast provided was delicious and substantial and you can buy drinks in the evening for a very reasonable price.
The kitchen is well stocked and spacious and there is a terrace with a wonderful view of Quito.
The location is near the old centre but you can take an uber (for very little) to the commercial centre too.
I had a lovely time. Many thanks to Sandra!

Wow. we spent 5 nights here and everything was amazing. Central location, gorgeous patio, gym, fully equipped kitchen and very very clean. The free breakfast was such a plus and very delicious/balanced. The beds were amazing and the duvets were a DREAM! so comfortable and thick which gave us the best nights sleep. The hostal owner was the sweetest woman ever. She was always up for a chat and knew so much about the area. We just arrived in ecuador and the amount of information we were given was extraordinary!! Could not recommend this place enough and was one of our favourite places we have stayed in south america.

Myself and my girlfriend stayed here for 5 nights. Sandra is a fantastic host. Rooms were clean, breakfast was great, showers were hot, absolutely no complaints. Definitely the go to spot for any fellow backpackers passing through Quito!

I agree with the others, Sandra keeps a welcoming and hospitable hostel with very clean rooms, comfortable beds, clean sheets, and a substantial breakfast. I slept soundly in the beds, and appreciated the other travelers being respectful. Big kitchen with tea, coffee, water and storage if you want to grocery shop. Very close to everything in the center of town. I spent a lot of time relaxing on the roof. Much recommended.

Hostel Revolution was a perfect stay for Quito. Sandra is super friendly, has great tips for everything and fun to talk with! The hostel is cosy decorated and spacious. The roof terrace has an amazing view and is great for relaxing, drinking a beer, reading etc.
We had a private room, neatly and clean with good beds and good pillows! Showers consistent warm. Breakfast was delicious!
The location is great, cafés with good coffee super close (Zular), als lots of restaurants (pizza at La Granja) and the historic centre with it's highlights in walking distance. Itxs easy to get an uber to anywhere you want. During the night it is quiet, so we had a good nights rest.

Quiet, clean with a fully equipped kitchen and nice breakfast in the morning. Particularly appreciated having a hairdryer available in the bathroom.

We had a very good time at this hostel. The beds are incredible comfortable, the bathroom and showers are clean and the water is hot. The kitchen is fully equipped and you can find free filtered water, coffee and tea at all time. Also the hostel has a rooftop with a very nice view on the city and the mountains.
But in my opinion, the best value of this hostel is the very friendly atmosphere between the host Sandra, the potential volunteers and the guests. It really feel like being part of a small family.
Really recommended!

Sandra is a gem and the place is sparkling. I visited here once in 2018 and again in 2024 and it is still as clean, quiet and centrally-located as I remember it. If you are looking for an alternative to the stereotypical backpacker's hostel nearby (*ahem* Secret Garden), you'll find no better option. Also, most comfortable bed I've slept on in Ecuador, and that in the dorms!
