Hostel Rupestre

I stayed 4 nights in this hostel and it was a nice and quiet place. The staff was very kind and helpful. The internet was pretty good. The rooms were ok overall. The bunkbeds are with 3 floors and metallic frame, pretty loud and creaking when you moved just a little. Not very comfortable, but ok for a few nights. The bathrooms were always leaking, and one of them wouldn't flush properly and that is never a good thing in a hostel with many people. The shower was very dirty, the shower curtain smelled terrible of mold, thank god the downstairs bathrooms are a bit spacious so you can avoid touching it. The place overall is very old and I think that some things like a shower curtain are simple and cheap things to maintain a running business, hygiene and cleanliness above all is something that is worth investing in a business.

My partner and I stayed here for a few nights. We arrived early from a night bus and they let us hang out, drink their coffee and watch Netflix while they got our room ready. They were super helpful for our whole stay. We decided to leave a day early and they gave us our money back for that night, no problem. We went away for a weekend to Capilla del Monte and they let us store our stuff in one of the lockers for no charge. All the hostel workers were kind and helpful. We felt very at home here.

the hostel itself is fine. But the person in charge lacks a lot of empathy for the fellow travelers. I was insulted and kicked out by the manager, Majo, for not having paid in advance, even though I offered all of my IDs, my smartphone, and the locker key to all of my belongings . Personally, I think the lack of understanding this hostel has is overwhelming. She could have been a bit more unorthodox and let me pay at check out, but she didn't. I will Never stay in that hostel again There are cheaper and more laid back hostels in cordoba. Trust me

Fantastic staff! Nice dorms with good storage. Terribly old and dirty toilets and showers. - MUST FIX - not sure how this filth made it into Lonely Planet 🤔

Not that great of a reception at first: in the booking details it said check-in at 12:00, eventually we only could get our room at 13:00 even though the hostel was practically empty. Room was decent and clean, but the bathroom was leaking ( it was raining ). Breakfast was quite poor, just bread and cereals. There was mention that you could only take 3 slices of bread and 1 egg, but no eggs to be found. Staff was friendly.

Very nice Hostel. Friendly stuff, Breakfast ist okay. The best thing is the boulder room. And they have sockets in the lockers!

Cosy place with real character. The price is reasonable especially with the free bike hire, climbing wall and terrace. The rooms are large and airy too

Nothing but good to say about this hostel! Staff were amazing, location is convenient, dorms were clean and facilities were great
