This hostel offers excellent value for money, especially in St. Moritz. It’s very easy to reach—the bus stops right in front of the hostel, which makes getting around seamless. I booked a quadruple room with breakfast, and it was a solid value for the price. They also offer dinner on site, which is a big plus after a long day out. The receptionist was extremely helpful and efficient, making the overall experience smooth and stress-free. The hostel has a nice lounge area to hang out, including a family-friendly space and a kids’ playground. The WC and showers are quite basic, but this is understandable given that it’s an older building. If you’re planning to catch the morning Glacier Express, this is a very smart option. You can spend half a day sightseeing in St. Moritz after arrival, rest comfortably overnight, enjoy a good breakfast in the morning, and head straight to your train well-prepared. If you’re driving, they also have parking space available.

Good location at the end of the bus line - so it was easily accessible. Staff were kind and friendly. It’s Switzerland so everything can feel a bit expensive. Rooms were bare bones, but clean. Breakfast was included in our booking but we weren’t able to get any since we left early (before 07)

The Jugendherbergen offers a standard room with 2 single beds, mostly a shared shower and toilet. We didn't mind that as it was always available and clean. I loved their breakfast and you have a paid option for dinner.

Beautiful location right by the big lake. Very clean, breakfast has many options and staff are very friendly. Easy bus ride to St Moritz town center. Two nights stay come with free cable car rides!

The room slightly smelled of fish for some reason, and no private toilet was there, even though it was promised (the door to somewhere was present, but closed). Otherwise ok for a hostel, breakfast was good, overall a bit noisy but suitable for a night.

The staff, especially Victor, was extremely kind and attentive to our group during our stay at the Youth Hostel St. Moritz. He really made us feel welcome and comfortable throughout our time there

I booked to stay in a dorm of 4, however there were 5 beds in the room. Not a huge problem as there ended up only being 4 people staying, but the extra bed did make the room feel very small. The toilet and shower room are very dated, there’s only a single toilet and shower for around 3 dorm rooms. I guess you could go to another floor/block, but I’ve never seen this before in a hostel of this size. The toilet and shower were kept clean though. The lounge area is nice and spacious, the staff were helpful with any questions and there’s lockers both in the room and the basement. Certainly not a bad hostel, but was expecting better.

Great experience at St. Moritz Hostel. This hostel has an affordable price and all the service that you can expect from an Hostel. Very kind and help-full staff. Special mention for Ricardo, the chef. He went above and beyond to save our dinner!

Yelp
The hostel is a 30-minute walk from the train station or a 10-minute bus ride that costs 3 CHF. It is not so out of the way as it may seem, however. We were there to cross-country ski and in fact, there are lovely trails for xc skiing and snowshoeing within steps of the door. The breakfast buffet, which is included, is impressive and the dinner and beer/wine options are great after a thorough day of skiing -- think classic swiss meat and potatoes type dishes, available for a very reasonable price. The salad bar was plentiful and well-stocked. The staff was reasonably new but as helpful as they could be. The rooms were large and clean and while there were mininal hangers, there was shelving and the bathroom was large. The shower did not have walls but instead just curtains so be prepared to avoid flooding the entire room. Great views from the higher floors. The hostel includes a number of group social spaces and dining rooms that can be reserved ahead of time for private groups, as well as a children's room, living room, and game room. The basement has a room for ski storage, 2 game rooms, and a laundry room.
