Hostel Tabor (Dijaški dom Tabor)

Excellent location within walking distance to downtown and main train station. Free parking in a difficult-to-park area. Decent breakfast. Friendly student reception, overall 'Student camp atmosphere', refreshing. Excellent value for money. Excellent support on ongoing events, places to visit a.s.o. Shared bathroom facilities, but clean and situation manageable unless overly fussy.

Nice building not too far from the city center and the train and bus station. The room itself is nice but right next to the shared kitchen that's accessible 24/7 so I haven't had a single moment of quiet since I arrived. Not sure it's even worth the cheap price.

We had a good experience with this hostel, I really recommend it. Everything was nice and clean. We were glad that they let us sleep in common room when we came during the night and didnt have a reservation yet. Kitchen was great. Only thing that we can point out are bathrooms - it would be much better if they were separated to men and women + if bins were in restrooms too. Bedroom was fine and also the price is really affordable. The staff was really helpful.

Great location. Really friendly & helpful reception. Kind of creepy as it’s actually a school in term time. Great facilities and quite clean. The breakfast was quite varied, and acceptable for the price. |The biggest issue was the lack of air con. We stayed on the top floor so all the heat from the building rose up too. We slept with the windows wide open which meant we couldn’t close the blind as it was honestly stifling. However, Ljubljana was so quiet that we weren’t woken up by noise.

The staff of this place were amazing. Specially the blond girl that works morning turns. She was really sweet, helped us in everything and she even showed us around. The location was just 10 min walk to the central market. They have private free parking, they have two really nice kitchen whete they let us use their tools for cooking and staying in general. We took the double bedroom and was clean and nice. The toilets were also clean. Overall I will give this place 9, I like it and felt safe.

Simple but clean place to stay. Staff is extremely welcoming. They have a common room for guests with a big table and sofas, you can work from there, even before and after check in and check out. They have luggage room where you can leave your baggage. WiFi is working good. Also breakfast included to the price and it's not bad. So there are all you need for the cheap price. I recommend to stay here if you are okay with the hostels in general. The only one thing is a toilet. If you are a girl and want to go to the toilet, you need to pass through the men's lavatory pans, and sometimes you can meet someone there😬😬(attached a picture how it looks)

Great staff, great service great facilities. BUT IT IS WAY TOO FLIPPING HOT!! :P Guy, PLEASE consider building in airconditioners. I'd happily pay more per night if you guys have this! If I ever return and this place has airconditioning... you will get 5/5 stars (Seriously, the weather in Ljubjana in high season is NO JOKE, especially for cold Dutchies like me haha)

Great place to stay in Lubjiana. A big hostel, with big clean rooms. The service is very nice, as the included breakfast. A parking is also available.
