Affordable. Clean. View. I am a Redneck so my standards are adaptable. But for a redneck...this place is pretty dam good. Lower level of rich city snobs would like this place. TRUMP 2024!!

Friendly staff and nice place. Looks a bit odd when you arrive and feels like an hotel for an hour 😉, but once you settled in it's really cool. The chill out area is awesome! Good bars and stores 50m down the road.

It's a place with great potential, but it needs some major improvements. No AC in a room that also had no window to open. They didn't clean my dorm in three days even after someone left already and it is way too close to the road, so it gets really loud every time a truck goes by.

So we booked the room for two nights. REALLY clean, just opened two wks prior to us arriving so everything was new. Only complaint was that we didn't have hot water in our private room, full sized bed (all have ac), so we had to use a shared bathroom and didn't get a partial refund. The first floor water heater went out and since we arrived on a Friday night and were leaving Sunday morning, the person coming to fix it wouldn't be in until Monday. However, we are back and staying for another 2 nights and they have fixed the water heater. They are very friendly and very accommodating. The staff are AWESOME and extremely helpful with helping us get around. There's much cheaper around but this one feels like a higher end hotel and for that we didn't mind paying a bit extra. Oh I will mention because we're off the hwy, you can hear the 18-wheelers at night and their horrid air breaks so that is a bit annoying, if you're a light sleeper I'd recommend ear plugs or music to sleep to.

A nice clean and quiet place. Friendly staff. Walking distance to Uvita approx. 15 minutes. The kitchen spacey and contained all the necessary equipment. My room had an en suite bathroom and AC. The garden was lovely and you could watch the monkeys climbing the trees around the hostel. A car would have been more practical to go places but there are buses.

This is a very new hostel in Uvita, even the cab drivers don't know about it yet. So it hasn't had a lot of reviews and exposure but I would highly recommend it for a stay in Uvita if you're looking for a home base to explore the area. It's very clean and the new bathroom, AC, TV and beds set it way above many of the the Costa Rica accomodations. Nice little yard out back to relax. The staff are very freindly and helpful. Caroline at the front desk is amazing - always there when you need her! It's very basic but the price can't be beat.

This place was by far one of the nicest places in Costa Rica(for rooms under $50usd/night). Very up to date. Fair priced. Room had air condition and hot water, tv with cable. The counter staff was very welcoming, English spoken. Very clean, decent kitchen with everything except a spatula. Nice little patio out back with hammock and cool lighting. 10/10 would recommend

I have stayed there for 3 nights 4 days. the guy in the counter is so kind and friendly. The hostel has really good Wi-Fi and AC. It was the first time that I had no problem with Wi-Fi in Costa Rica. The happiest thing for me is that the hostel is so quiet at night. There are no screaming and hanging over in the hostel. There is a place to drink so if you want to drink you can go there and drink too. only that i couldn't make is that I couldn't use the bicycle from this hostel so i have to find the bus and walking way. but they explained me that the bicycle is coming in 1 month. so it's going to be no problem for you. ||||The location to the uvita is not too bad, if you have your own car you can go soon, even if you don’t have it, you can call taxi. In my case, I walked to the water fall, it takes 1 hour, and 2 hour for the uvita beach. Also there is a local bus to Dominical as well, but the bus is not punctual and I waited 1 hour in the bus stop. You should consider how to go by yourself.||||The food: there are some restaurants nearby, also there is a supermarket so you can buy some fruits or any food for the breakfast as well. There is no breakfast option from this hostel. Thank you for the great experience. I am going to visit from Japan again.
