Cheap and cheerful. Even though it's a dorm with capsule style beds it was surprisingly quiet. They have a clean fridge and seating area. They supply an incredible amount of makeup, curling irons etc. Free drinks and great showers. My only complaint is the tatami mats are not as comfortable as other places have been. Mine may have been older or something but it wasn't the greatest for comfort. But clean as a whistle and I'd stay again for the price. Hot tip! Right in front of the Denny's is a set of stairs that will take you into the INCREDIBLE underground shopping plaza and train station. Don't stand in the Blazing heat waiting to cross to get back to the train station! And there's a BLUE SEAL down there!!! 🥳🥳🥳

This place has nothing to do with an hostel. It is a "cheap" accommodation in a very good location (5min walk from Nagoya Station). That's all. Staff members do not interact with guests so I cannot express an opinion on them. The level of security is very low as anybody can access the building (hence the dorms) during the day. There is a code to open the door at night but, as a matter of fact, a very drunk man was sleeping on the floor of my dorm and I don't think he was a guest (or he would have gone to his bed). I had to sleep with my backpack in the bed or the only option was to leave it outside the dorm. Toilets & showers are clean. Shampoo/conditioner/boady soap/body lotion and hair dryer available (as in most accommodations in Japan). The good thing is free miso soup!

I understand that every hostel has its own rules and character, but this experience left me feeling quite uncomfortable. After checking out, I only planned to grab a quick breakfast nearby and return in about 20 minutes to collect my luggage. However, the front desk told me I couldn’t leave my bags there anymore. Their reason was that they were “about to change the door code,” which didn’t seem genuine and came across as an excuse. While I respect that each place has its policies, offering a short-term luggage hold is a basic courtesy that many travelers appreciate. I hope the hostel can improve its communication and be a bit more considerate in handling such situations in the future.

Fantastic hostel. Super close to train station, just 30 min walk to the Toyota museum. AC keeps rooms cool. Bed is a little thin, but acceptable. Free coffee, tea and miso soup is a big plus!

The place is decent in terms of price. My capsule/bunk bed was clean hence I really had a sound sleep. It’s also considerably near to shops which is a plus. Will definitely book this property if I’ll be traveling again to Nagoya.||||Keep up the great service! :)

The location is quite close to the station and there are lots of restaurants in the area. You have to walk a fare bit or take transit to do any sight seeing. Most of the amenities you have to pay for and you don’t get a personal spot to store your luggage.

Great location, based in the centre of Nagoya. The capsules are comfy, however the air conditioning unit is quite loud at night time and it is quite warm. But over all, amazing place

I rated this hostel 2 stars out of 5 based on my personal experience, if you’re lucky, it might be a 3 or even a 4 if you’re not picky. I want to start the review with the positive points. The check-in process was fast, nothing to complain about. Bathrooms are nice and there is one on every floor. Free lotion, free shower gel, towels are a 300¥ rental though. Location is central even though kind of sketchy with lots of girls bars around. Now the bad side. First, I know we are in Japan and it is globally safe but anyone can walk-in the room as it is not key or password protected. Second, mattresses are so thin and hard. Third, AC is super loud. Fourth, even though I booked 3 months ahead and for 4 nights, I have been attributed a top bunk bed which doesn’t make any sense. I asked to change it and was granted another bed, thanks for that. Fifth, my newly attributed bed and the other one, I checked just to be sure have a corner in it therefore reducing the bed size that is already small by a third. How greedy do you have to be to set up beds where there is obviously no space for one? Or at least if you are going to sell those spots, make an option for people to pay half the price. This is one of the worst hostels I have ever been to. Update, this is even worse than I thought. I managed to get a new bed but once again there is an issue, it is not properly separated from the neighbouring one and therefore if the person next to you is inconsiderate you’ll have to sleep with the light on. The hostel lets the girls from the sketchy businesses around here stay for the night, they wake you up in the morning by being loud - also, they look very young and I really hope they’re not minors.
