The location is certainly great, right in the center of old town. However, for 198€ a night plus 15€ (very simple breakfast per person), this hotel is overpriced. There is no mini-fridge, no water cooker, no coffee machine in the room. The bathroom amenities are very basic. We had diner here, 51€ for 3 course meal. The starters were good, but the main course was quite a disappointment. The salmon dish was quite dull and the pork was quite hard to chew. The staff was also quite indifferent.

Words cannot describe how amazing this experience was - from the drive into the center of the town to check in and find out where to park, to the staff helping me find my room - thank you for carrying my bag up 3 flights of stairs on a circular staircase too! I had dinner at the Inn that was exceptional - the service and the food! The breakfast was a very simple but delicous continental approach with fresh croissant and baguette. I highly recommend staying in Perouges and at this amazing family property.

Booked this because it is a storybook-looking hotel and it lived up to the biling. We were in a separate midieval building than the restaurant, about 75 meters away from the square which was fine. Our room was huge, ancient and creaky, but comfortable and fun with a spectacular view over the countryside through paned windows with inside wooden shutters to block the morning light. The meal at the restaurant was REALLY good too. Highly recommend eating there.

Nice restaurant but there are a person who unfortunately take away the cham of the place ( in this Hotel-restaurant) the head of service is very arrogant and it is a shame because He is a older man, as you can see several empty tables, to all the tourists He told us " We are full " a shame for those people who really work in this place as cooks , waiters etc... Go to any other restaurant and you will have better service !!! Responding to the response below, we went for a coffee, at 14:00, saw enough places with people drinking so not to intervene in lunch.No problem we left the town for this attitude. We hope other patrons will be having a better experience.

I stopped for a specialty galette in this restaurant. Service was ok. Galette was delicious. On a hot summer day it was a welcome break to sit in the cool and have a snack and cold drink.

Central in Perouges and very nice experience staying in a medieval village and hotel. Service is great and restaurant is very good, although a bit expensive.||Owner even accepted to change reservation last minute - higgly recommended for a time travel to another age!

Had to write a review because I think this restaurant deserves a far higher rating than it currently has. The ambiance is so charming and authentic, the perfect place to go while visiting this medieval village, making you feel that you've stepped back in time. The service was impeccable, warm and generous. The food was perfect. Our second time here and will be back again.

I stayed here one night with my wife in April 2024. Even though I was aware that the bedrooms are located in a medieval building, it still came as a surprise that the heating in the bedroom was totally inadequate. The huge iron radiators were permanently on, albeit they were "tepid" on the inflow and very "cold" on the outflow, with any heat being lost into a very draughty room which did not get warm at all. My request at reception fell on deaf ears as nothing was done to remedy the problem. It was 5 deg C outside and not a lot warmer inside. It would have been better to put them on full blast for a couple of hours in the morning and the same in the evening but low temp all day just wastes money 'for everybody'. Particularly when you are paying 187 euros for room only., no breakfast. This type of period environment is fine when its 20 deg C outside but not when it's winter conditions. We left 'very early' the next morning without breakfast and enjoyed the warmth of the car...The cracks and mould in the bathroom was reminiscent of a 2 star hotel not one that charges the prices as shown above. Review is for the cafe. They also have a hotel. Its in the middle of the little town square. Very charming. Quick service as they knew we were on a tour and didnt have much time. I had cocoa and a gallette slice. Very good.
