Comfortable, modern hotel with free parking just steps from the center of Brantome. The comfort rooms were a reasonable size, and the beds were comfortable. Our rooms faced the garden/pool area. The hotel has a restuarant that you must book for (we didn't) but no bar, which was a shame as we would have liked to enjoy the courtyard.

This place appears to have been a Brantome “destination “ for many years. It is well run by an efficient team with a nice pool and very good restaurant. The rooms are comfortable and it is centrally located though not by the river, There is safe parking available. A nice place to stop and we’d come again. I didn’t give 5 stars as there is an element of efficiency rather than charm in the ambience but maybe that’s me being picky! The cost overall is very reasonable.

Wonderful hosts. Fabulous food , worth it for dinner alone. Great location within walking distance of everything. Great to have an outdoor pool to cool off in. Private parking and added bonus. Nice touches everywhere, like the rugby themed breakfast area. Will definitely be back. Well done to all the staff.

Nice welcome on arrival, escorted to our rooms which were two rooms on one floor, so nice and private. Staff were very approachable and friendly. Location was easy walking distance from a lovely town with many riverside shops and eateries.

Stayed here for 2 nights in early July with my husband; |Positive aspects: convenient location, easy to find. Good secure parking and very welcoming. We arrived a little early and were able to access our room. Room was small but good value for the price. Close to town and lovely walks from hotel. |Less positive: hotel is a little worn, pool is small and feels very exposed, right next to restaurant. Room was very hot and fan gave little relief. No tea, coffee or water in the room. Breakfast offered poor choice, bread, pastries, jam, a yogurt and some fruit. A slightly wider offer of cheese, eggs or cold meats would have been welcome. It’s carbs or carbs! We ate dinner there both nights, food was ok but nothing special.||Overall, this is a budget hotel and it’s good value.

Lovely place to stay. Room was great, comfortable bed. Only downside was there was no tea/coffee facilities in the room. Wonderful food on the terrace. Very attentive service. Great stay. We stayed for two nights and the location was excellent. Such a lovely setting with great staff.||

Very good place to feel French culture. The food is amazing at the restaurant! The personnel is very friendly and nice. The owner heard that I wanted to try a cream brûlée and brought it to me! So kind of him! This was the best cream brûlée I have ever ate so far!!
