This place completely exceeded our expectations!!! ❤️ The house is absolutely stunning — elegant, full of character, and designed with incredible attention to detail. Bed has expensive soft linens, and comfortable pillows and mattresses. The comfort level is truly world-class — comparable to Four Seasons — but with a more personal, heartwarming touch. The food deserves a special mention: every meal was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. All vegetables were from the garden. Dinner felt like a fine-dining experience, yet served with genuine kindness and care. Absolutely photogenic ❤️❤️❤️I have a lot of amazing photos. And, of course, the garden and the forest next to the house deserve special mention. It’s an absolutely breathtaking place with century-old eucalyptus trees whose fragrance fills the air — you just can’t stop walking around and breathing it in. I saw a lot of birds and fox 🦊 Many thanks to the entire team for their hospitality and care — and especially to the wonderful host - Asunción. My highest recommendations for visiting this luxurious and unforgettable place. 💛

Me and my friend stayed at this place and wow, it’s honestly the most beautiful estate I ever seen in Argentina!! Everything so cozy, stylish and made with love🩷🩷🩷 The food was amazing, the bed so comfy, that satin sheets just unreal, didn’t wanna get up at all. The garden smells crazy good with roses and those big eucalyptus trees. You can really feel how much care Asunción puts in every little thing. Miss it already, can’t wait come back ❤️

This place is like being in paradise, the environment, the food, the attention of its people, the garden. All of extraordinary beauty, quality and warmth. We went with a group of friends and it was like taking 10 years off our shoulders. We ate, enjoyed and laughed in a magical place. Don't hesitate to go, you will remember this review. Ave Maria is located right outside Tandil town surrounded by rolling hills, sunflowers, horses, cows, gardens with roses, lavander.. endless views. The food is exquisite, home made always with attention to detail. The owner Asunti is available and making sure you have everything you need. Lucas is another highlight of the visit, he can make everything happen. The sunsets are magical, horse riding, swimming in the pool, long walks.. The perfect stay.

We arrived in Tandil very early. Our room was already done so we could check in easily. At the first moment that we were entering the Hosteria we had the feeling of being home and in Paradise. Everywhere are birds, wonderful flowers, nature, old eucalyptus trees a large Pool. Even the hosteria is not equipped with an AC, its really not needed as it is a comfortable temperature in the Hosteria. For cold days you have also a fireplace in your room. The room itself is great, telling you the history by being very well equipped, clean with an contemporary decoration and furniture. The staff, or more the hosts are to fall in love with. So much passion and heartfelt service I didnt have seen before. Espacially Graziella, Lucas and Diego are doing a great job, and really love what they do. We had a fantastic dinner twice, which was very delicious, taking into consideration that all the vegetables are grown in their own garden. It was sensationell. So, thank you for everything. We are almost done with our South America road trip. Roughly 3 months worth of hotel nights. Now, at the end, we come to the No 1 hotel of our trip. Hosteria Ave Maria beats all others hands down. Ave Maria is set in a beautiful garden/park with rose bushes and lemon and pomelo trees. We were greeted by the owner, who made us most welcome. The fireplace in the sitting area was on all-day. Sitting area and bed rooms are stylishly decorated and make you feel like being in a private home. Dinner included a vegetarian option, which was prepared by using produce from own gardens. It was delicious. So was breakfast with fresh juices and perfectly cooked eggs. Hosteria Ave Maria fully deserves the highest rating.

Ave Maria is by far our favorite estancia experience in Argentina. Everything about this small country hotel is inspired the owner, Asunti, who leaves her mark everywhere, from the superb cuisine, to the incredible decoration of each room and of the relaxed living rooms, to the elegant gardens that she tends herself regularly. The hotel's garden/farm produces not only most of what is served in meals during the summer and fall seasons but also the flowers that are used to decorate the rooms. The cuisine is prepared by German who is a fantastic chef with 30 years of experience in Tandil and abroad. Most of the staff, including Lucas, Beatriz, Maria Jose, German, Graciela and Celeste have been with Ave Maria for many years - we have been visiting periodically for more than 15 years. The place is truly a dream destination for total relaxation, complete silence at night, marvelous long walks around the 44 hectare estancia, along with opportunities for horseback riding on the estancia's horses with Martin (who also keeps up Ave Maria's maintenance and extensive gardening and planting), bike riding, swimming in the very well-maintained pool,and massage arranged by the staff. The attention to detail is extremely impressive and the place is kept up impeccably.

Ave María is a charming bed & breakfast set amidst the beautiful Tandil hills. Everything about this small hotel says "boutique": the staff's warmth, the homemade food and cozy setting. We had a wonderful 4 days, enjoying vigorous trekking and relaxing reading by the fireplace. Would definitely go back!
