Hostería La Escampada

Only stayed in El Bolson and came here based on Lonely Planet review. We had a good sized room, very comfortable bed and en-suite for a very affordable price.||The breakfast was simple but good with lots of choice of cakes, breads, cereals and yoghurts. The owner was very friendly. ||Would recommend as a good option within a short (5 minute) walk to the main square, but in quiet surroundings.

This is a wonderful place. The owners are lovely. Great location and delicious breakfast. The rooms are delightful . Comfortable beds. Clean and tidy hotel. Lovely wooden decor. Hard to please teenagers were all happy.

We stayed here one night on a fly drive to Argentina. Having got cold on the snowy mountain it was great to be welcomed into the warm. Lovely large, clean room with plenty of hot water in a quiet part of town. Good buffet breakfast. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

We stayed in this warm and welcoming hotel twice last winter and this review is long overdue, lo siento. Very nice and helpful owners. Very comfortable and spacious bedroom. Great breakfast too. And very close to the town center in a quiet area. All this for a very reasonable price.Perfect! Muchas gracias. If only we did not live so far away we would be back regularly!!!

I like the place so much. It is very comfortable. The breakfast is generous and delicious. The owners and personnel are very kind. I feel so thankful. I really recommend. In addition, that ||place is very nice for family too. It is very convenient for people without car because it is located close to the principal street.

The two hotels that interested us were closed, so we ended up here. At first, I was turned off by the unwelcoming feeling of the place (cold lobby, cold owner) and I walked away. We came back because we discovered that El Bolson is seriously lacking in decent facilities. We realized that the room itself was fine and had a good bathroom, and breakfast the next day was good. It would take very little to make this hotel a better place, but the new owner does not seem to know how to welcome his guests. Compared to other hotels around Bariloche, this place is overpriced, especially that they don't accept credit cards.

a nice little 2 story hosteria. large and tastefully decorated rooms. comfortable king size bed reach breakfast in Argentinian terms. in a quiet street near the main street, the famous market and the tourist information. a bit expensive (270 pesos per night for a couple) but worth any penny.

Delightful stay. Large room on first floor with all facilities. Modern. Quiet. Good views. Close to centre of town. Decent breakfast. Easy parking outside. Friendly and efficient staff. Not expensive. Would stay again.
