Hostería La Roca de la Patagonia

A warm,friendly and most hospitable family in a beautiful little town that should not be over looked. We stayed three nights in this delightful,well appointed and obviously loved,and laughed in family Hosteria. The photos of family and friends endorse well loved hosts and staff. The rooms are clean,warm,comfortable and large. Breakfast was sensational,and the Mexican Restaurant adjoining scrumptious. Thank you for our perfect stay in your pretty little town.

The staff is really nice and helpful. Beds and rooms are really comfortable. The shower is great. The breakfast is good. They have parking. You have a discount in the room price if you pay with cash. Really close from the centre of the town. When I return to Villa La Angostura I'm definitely going to stay there.

Our stay was absolutely excellent. The area is beautiful. The rooms from the hotel look out onto the mountains. The location is perfect as you can walk everywhere. |The food was the best....compliments to the chef!! There is a wonderful family atmosphere - the staff were extremely friendly and helpful - and we were able to visit many places from there. It is great for the outdoors - biking, mountain walking, swimming in the lakes, kayaking, boat trips etc - you won't be bored. And did I mention the food - fab! |I would definitely return and I would definitely stay in the same place. I can recommend it with ease.|

Found this hotel through my GPS...pulled in on my motorcycle. ||The hotel is owned by Sergio and his wife Lillian. Absolutely friendly and hospitable and professional people. The room is large, ultra clean, great bed, great shower. Breakfast is a combination of good coffee, bread and croissants. The sitting and breakfast area is large with the appearance of a home. The whole hotel is immaculate.||It is a real joy being here.||Clive

Without a doubt: 2 thumbs up!|This hotel is right in the town center so even though we had a car we could walk to all the restaurants and shops there. |The room was very spacious and quite sober and there's also a common area with a very confi-feeling to it, perfect for reading a book or just relaxing and enjoying a beautiful view of the Cerro Bayo.|The hotel is managed by it's owners, who went out of their way to make us feel at home and advised us on all must-see sites, attractions and activities around the area (I loved the kayaking on lake Correntoso).|I only spent 4 nights at La Roca... and I'm definitely planning to stay there again when I go back to ski in the winter time!!!||PS the restaurant there (Mora) had the best pizzas I've tried in my life!|

We stayed here for 5 days in early February. We were very happy with our accomodation, although having AC at night would have been nice. There is a fan in the rooms, though, and it helps cool the air down a bit. The hotel is located just off the main street, close to all shops and restaurants. There is a restaurant within the hotel which serves decent enough food, but I would explore other options if you're looking for an exceptional meal. The best restaurant where we went was "A Estribor" close to the "Escondida" hotel about 7 kms out of Villa la Angostura on the road to Bariloche. Whatever you do, avoid going to the "Waldhaus" restaurant - overpriced pseudo-Alpine food with a lot of snobby attitude.|

Probably the coziest place you'll find in Villa La Angostura. The staff is very friendly and helpful, composed by an adult couple and their son. You won't find the cheapest prices there are in Patagonia here, but the beauty and confort of the room as well as the breakfast, make it a good bargain. Definitely going back!

It has been a very nice stay!||The hotel is very nice and full of charme; it is very close to the city center and in a pretty and quite road.||Moreover, the owners are really kind and well disposed to solve any problem the guests may have. ||Thanks a lot for your friendly hospitality!
