Great location, just outside the park. It is expensive, but it is reasonable compared to other hotels nearby. Rooms are a bit tired, but clean and warm. Very helpful and friendly staff. Nice atmosphere. Would recommend.

Great location but for the price you might as well stay at Rio Serrano. We had to do 1 of our 3 nights here because Rio Serrano was booked. Ended up just spending most of our time across the street. Heating only runs for 2 hours a day so you wake up freezing. If you plan on doing early morning hikes you have to skip breakfast. They leave out coffee the night before but it’s cold in the morning. Your clothes also won’t dry so plan to use your car heater on the drive to you hike the next morning Overall it definitely felt like an expensive hostel

This is basically a tent with heating. There is no sound isolation between rooms what so ever. You can hear every flush, toilet sound, step back and forth to the lobby in the corridor, doors being shut of every room. Even the bus engine parking outside feels like in your room. They put parfumed toilet rolls and shampoo and hair conditioner in your rooms but serve cold instant coffe and cheap breakfast in the mornings.

Perfect accommodation for a stay in Torres del Paine. Brilliant service, delicious dinners and exceptional hospitality. We were surprised by the negative reviews. The area is very expensive due to its proximity to the park and the hosteria is one of the cheapest places to stay. We did not expect a 5 star luxury hotel and got more than we could ask for. The ideal base for your unforgettable adventures in the park

Very clean room and friendly staffs. The only drawback is that dinner has only one dish. One person in our party doesn’t eat fish so we have to go somewhere else for dinner. Not a huge problem for just staying here for sleep and it’s much cheaper than all other lodging options around here. Very quiet and warm.

We booked a twin room, and got a twin room, which was incredibly small and smelled musty (room 17). I saw other twin rooms which were bigger but already booked. Spring for a larger room (the room next door with a king bed looked wonderful), which we would have paid more for if they had been available. We found out after our hike that the hotel may have had trekking poles for us to rent or use, which would have been useful. Breakfast is very good with home-baked breads, but doesn't start until 7:30 (although the owner started the coffee machine for us one day at 7 when we wanted an early start.) There were always fires in the wood stoves for the cold mornings. Staff is nice but knowing Spanish is necessary (except for the night clerk.) Shower was hot. Bring earplugs because the doors to the rooms have a glass panel, which means you hear everything in the hall and the lobby (and if the hall light turns on in the night, you see that, too.) We had a small load of laundry done for US 10. We did not eat dinners there as there were always only two main options and nothing for vegetarians. Easy to eat at other hotel restaurants in the area with more options. Despite all the negatives, it had a certain charm.

Wonderful little lodge outside Torres. It was quaint and intimate but exactly what we were looking for as a base camp for exploring the park. The staff was what made this place so special- they were kind, attentive, professional and we truly felt like they cared about us and our time with them. If you're looking for luxurious accommodations you can find them elsewhere in Patagonia. This is exactly what it was meant to be for us- a clean and comfortable base camp from which to explore the park, a nice family running the operations, good authentic food for dinner, a warm hearth in the lodge and stunning views. Even had a little family dog that liked to get scratched behind the ears.

The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Not only did they accommodate our request for vegetarian dinners, they did so by providing some of the best meals we had in Chile. The dining/sitting room has a great view of the mountains. It felt like we were sitting in someone's mountain home. The staff's warmth, the cook's delicious vegetarian meals, and the general home-like atmosphere made it hard to leave.||||The wifi is free but slow. There is decent mobile service if you have a Chilean SIM card.
