Hostería Lunahuana

This is one remaining icon of this area. It is superbly located with a traditional "Tafi" feel to it. The ambiance, views of the Ñuñorco, the slight smell of burning wood and that "vieja casona" beauty, made our stay something to remember.

I choose to rate this lovely Hostería 1 less than previous visit, solely on the basis they have still not improved their WiFi . Having to go to the lobby or stand by your window for a Connection is not acceptable for the price charged. The walls are not sound proof and this visit some awesome intimate sounds were air borne. The Hostería consist of a series of steps beginning at the entrance and it is worth a walk straight back to where the Suites are located. Very beautifully decorated with paintings and cloth and jewellery. Viewed 2 Suites..nice but regular loft rooms are pricey enough. Their kitchen serves up very good food and so decided to avoid the ramble across the street. Breakfast Superb missing only the scrambled eggs. Very reasonable wine selection. GREAT Staff.

We stayed there with my husband and our three children in June 2013. It was very cold outside, the rooms and the hotel were warm an cozy, it is beautifully decorated with typical argentinian north western art and fabrics, lots of indoor plants, very well kept and the staff was cheerful and helpful. The view was impressive. The restaurant excellent with typical food from the region, delicious. The only negative thing I can say is that there was a smell of humidity in the room. If it weren't for that I would give it a full five stars!

This hotel is awsome. The decoration is related with the area, the rooms are huge with themed decoration. The people working at the hotel are just ok, they should improve their customer service, I am not saying this for anything in particular, the are ok, but they do not do that extra thing to make feel welcomed!||Breakfast is really good, with many options. The hotel also have a restaurant which is very good. The location is ok as Tafi del Valle is not a big place. The bathroom is very big. The hotel is perfectly clean.||I recommend it

The common areas are great, everything is really clean, the breakfast is just okay. The location couldn't be better, just one block of the main avenue.||The rooms, while clean and freshly painted, havent been upgraded in decades, you have just two power outlets in the room, behind the bed; all lamps have incandescent bulbs (in 2017); the TV is a CRT with four channels (in 2017).||The bed and pillows are as soft as a bale of hay.||Definitely not worth the hundred bucks per night.

Nice clean hotel ,spacious rooms, good breakfast! A bit annoying was the fact we had to drag our luggage up to the first floor no ramp or elevator just drag!! There are also some really enthusiastic roosters keeping you from sleeping.

Stayed for 2 nights. Big loft room with 4 beds and a nice bathroom. Paid 600p for one person as its quiet now (normal rate I think 1000p).||Its a very smart hotel.||Staff are SUPER helpful and friendly.||Clean. Great wifi.||Very well appointed rooms.||They take credit cards.||Stay here !

Nice room. Good breakfast. Good location near the main street. The decoration was nice, but a bit dark. Too expensive for the quality that you get, at least off season. A smile from the staff woldnt hurt!
