Hostería Mirador Del Payne

stayed in 2019- the walks right from the farm are absolutely gorgeous and you won’t see another soul. we spent a few nights here and drove to the park for 2 day hikes + a third just wandering around the trails off the farm. it’s absolutely gorgeous here and feels way more authentic than the mega hotels (gorgeous in their own right) - we were happy to not be staying with a bunch of high roller tourists and very much enjoyed getting to know the staff. definitely recommend for travelers who want to feel a little closer to patagonia.

Great views, good food. There is no reception and no wifi for anyone (incl staff, so don't expect to be able to contact them). It's a bit of a trek to get here, you'll definitely need a car; public transit and most taxis won't come. It's located at the end of a 25km drive on loose gravel.

We stayed here in Feb 2010 and the place is amazing. It is not in the middle of the NP Torres del Paine, but with a car it is easy to reach. The hosts have been very friendly, the food was amazing and the view exceptional.

Clean room, hot shower, no Wifi

Hier ist nur der Blick auf das Paine Massiv schön. Die Zimmer sind absolut veraltert, das Bett total durchgelegen. Die Fenster lassen auch bei geschlossenem Zustand allen Wind und Kälte durch, die Heizung geht nicht. Es gibt keinen Strom tagsüber, das Frühstück und auch das Abendessen sind die Katastrophe, schlechter als jede Fabrik Kantine. mit dem Unterschied, dass das Abendessen stolze 27000 chilenische Pesos kostet. Da die Hosteria 26 km Schotterstr von der Hauptstrasse entfernt liegt, somit 50 km vom Parkeingang entfernt, hat man abends keine Möglichkeit irgendwo gut und gepflegt essen zu gehen. Ich kann jedem, der seinen Auffenthalt im wunderschönen Torres del Paine geniessen möchte nur raten sich eine andere Unterkunft zu suchen. Man fühlt sich hier in der Hosteria nur als Turist ausgenutzt und nicht willkommen.

Estive lá no dia 22 de outubro com reserva para este dia e encontrei a Hosteria fechada, segundo informações dos vizinhos ela não funciona desde maio deste ano, espero ressarcir meu prejuízo

Solicito a ustedes eliminar la información ya que hosteria Mirador del Payne cerró definitivamente su operación en marzo del 2019.
