This is a 5 star plus location. Don’t be put off by other reviews because it’s not a luxury hotel with fine dining as the location and views are simply the best. You get plenty to eat and drink and a comfortable bed with a hot shower, the receptionists were super helpful and we were superbly looked after by Ben and Rodrigo during our 2 night stay. Do seek out the living room with sofas or the benches by the lake where you can chill out with a glass of wine and simply take in the view.

It was great, everything worked (hot water, room cleaning etc). We had our expectations low since we read some mixed reviews. But we have no complaints, the location is really the best. Breakfast buffet was decent, but we never tried the fixed price dinner especially Christmas Eve dinner seemed so expensive with extra 20% markup (we never figured out what was that) and standard 10% tip in Chile. |There were tip jars everywhere like the receptionist, kitchen staff for breakfast and in the room. Overall, all worked out.

If you want to stay in the centre of the park and do not want to camp, this is the best deal around. We stayed for three nights in January 2025 and we were quite worried given a good number of (very) negative reviews that we read. However, we have been very happy with every aspect of our stay. So, here some detailed info on our all experience. The cost: Yes, it is expensive and there is no doubt that compared with hotels at a similar price in big Chilean towns the expectation can be different. This is why it does not get 5 stars. However, you are in Torres del Paine where everything is expensive. We also stayed at Rio Serrano, which is much more expensive and although much nicer we believe Pehoe provide a much better value. The room: We stayed in a superior double room. We did not ask for a view, but we were lucky to get an half obstructed view of the Cuernos. While the building is quite old, the room was nice, relatively spacious and clean. The bathroom was basic, a bit tight, but overall clean. So, no complaints on this. Heating and hot water are only on between 6pm and 10am, but this was not a big problem. Rooms are cleaned daily and we were very happy with the service. Food: The breakfast was good enough, i.e., standard buffet breakfast. Dinners were admittedly on the expensive side but, again, you pay for the location. However, the quality of the food has always been good. Staff: We never had any issues with the staff and everyone has been incredible friendly and helpful. We had a problem with a flat tire and the staff at the reception was happy to assist us. Also, we had a problem with one of the windows in our room and as soon as we flagged it someone was sent to fix it within 10 minutes. Everyone has been very friendly. Lastly, a note about the location. This is way above five stars and what make this place unique. In summary, if you can afford it and are willing to accept that you are paying a bit more for a room that you would get cheaper in any city around the world, just do it. It provides a unique opportunity to sleep in the center of the park and have some amazing scenery really at your doorstep. I would definitely not hesitate one second to book again here.

This Hostería offers a spectacular view of Los Cuernos mountain and its lake, with nearby good hiking trails. We truly enjoyed our stay here especially with the friendly & helpful hotel staff at the front desk Brenda as well as the restaurant servers. Although the room is outdated but at least beds are comfortable. The food is ok but there’s a grilled restaurant which is really good at a nearby campground. There’s a viewpoint which is nice for an afternoon walk & taking photos. Internet only in the guest lobby. Overall it’s a good stay within Torres del Paine Natl Park and we will not hesitate to book this hotel again in the future.

I loved my stay here. The staff and the service were great. A great experience in an unbelievable location and all for one of the more reasonable prices in the park.

Rooms very dated and dirty. Food is set menu with only 2 choices and very expensive at 55,000. Pork and potato was cold, tomato soup was good. Hotel Lago Grey had much better and cheaper food and rooms were fabulous. Avoid this hotel. Staff rude and indifferent apart from Rodrigo who is superb. Hotel needs a complete revamp, a new chef and a change of staff attitude.

The buildings are very old. The place really needs some renovation. The staff treats you with no respect like they are something more than you are. They serve the dinner like you are on an airplane or something. The sea food dish was very tasty. They make you to order wine and dessert that are very low quality and they are included in the price like it or not. Very high price $50 for a person for a dinner with very low options.

Place is just stunning. But a bit more effort could be done on service, food and rooms renovations. Nevertheless, totally recommended. Again, the location speaks for itself.
