We had a great stay here, and this was maybe one of our favorite places we’ve stayed across all our travels due to the homeyness of the place and friendliness of the hosts. First and importantly, the property is a great value and we found it to be less expensive than other properties in the city. The breakfast in the morning was simple but fantastic. Their home baked bread they served was to die for (my girlfriend has continued to talk about it every day since we’ve left), and they also made eggs fresh when you were ready for them. Not only were they fresh and made to order, but also very GOOD! Plus, they had an incredible lake view from the dining area. Beds were comfortable and bathroom clean. Also, the whole building and floors are made of real & beautiful wood. Ian was so friendly and gave some great recommendations of places to eat and drink in town. Best part were the two friendly little kitties roaming around! They do ask to pay in cash. They gave plenty of heads up and took all forms (USD, ARD, Euro) but heads up!

Ian is a really lovely and helpful host and he is great at English and always wants to help. His wife and cats are lovely too! The place is simple, very good value and within walking distance of the town. Lovely views of Lago Argentino. Perfect for what it is. "Fancier" places could learn a thing or two about customer service and value from here!

Ian and Tatiana are legitimately the most kind and gracious hosts you will ever meet. We had travel issues with the wind and road closures, and they were so accommodating, helped with calling people to change bookings, find information, etc.. Generally, they are both just so down to earth and very easy to chat with. The room with a lake view was lovely, very clean, with a nice big bed. I'm a huge breakfast guy, and the breakfast here was a standout for me! Eggs, toast, fruits, coffee, delicious cakes, lots of variety. I of course highly recommend staying here, you will not regret it 😊

Ian and Tatiana are fantastic hosts striking the perfect balance between being welcoming and helpful but not intrusive. I've stayed at 5* hotels that didn't have the levels of service offered by the couple. The breakfast was great for a small place and the room was clean and comfortable (although personally I'd prefer a colour other than brown for the bed covers!)

Hosts are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good and the room was fine. I would recommend this place to anyone. Only the curtains were not darkening so bring an eye mask.

Everything was perfect. Ian and Tatiana are fantastic hosts, and the breakfast is delicious (make sure to try the cakes because they’re homemade!). There’s a warm and peaceful atmosphere.

Host is amazing, super accommodating and had suggested great restaurants for us. Breakfast was absolutely amazing. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Can highly recommend for all!

The location was great. On a really quiet street but walkable to all the restaurants and shops and things to do in the town. The hosts were just the best! Ian and Tatiana were always willing to help, accommodate us with anything we needed and give us great recommendations. The breakfast was also great! They make everything homemade. Just a perfect place to stay in El Calafate!
