Hosteria Posada Josh Karut

I highly recommend Posada Karut Josh. I stay here while transiting through El Calafate and had a wonderful stay thanks to the excellent hospitality of the hosts: Ian and Tatiana. I also enjoyed meeting their adorable cat! Not only was my stay lovely but you can tell that Ian has a big heart, especially for animals.||The gardens are lovely and the street is quiet (but centrally located). It's a quick walk to excellent restaurants and about a 20 minute walk to the Laguna Nimez Nature Reserve.

The location was great. On a really quiet street but walkable to all the restaurants and shops and things to do in the town. The hosts were just the best! Ian and Tatiana were always willing to help, accommodate us with anything we needed and give us great recommendations. The breakfast was also great! They make everything homemade. Just a perfect place to stay in El Calafate!

*If you are reading this review as you consider the stay, stop and book.* This B&B is a home away from home as you'll ever find. From the entrance and the host smile, we knew we were going to have a splendid stay. The sweet and warm couple, Ian and Titiana make every effort to make you feel comfy. The room was super clean and spacious for our two nights. The breakfast was everything we can ask for with fresh vegetables, eggs made just for us and a fresh brewed cafe. My wife celebrated birthday during the stay, when we arrived from a day out we had a bottle of wine waiting for us, what a sweet treat. We had a very interesting conversation with Ian and beside being a lovely host, he is a great guy to speak with and for a laugh. Lovely sense of humor! Not to be missed if you are staying in El Calafate. Thank you for everything.

Ian and Tatiana's posada is the perfect place to stay a few days or more in El Calafate. They are both very helpful and made our stay even greater. The bedrooms are very comfortable, calm and cozy. Breakfast is delicious and comes with a very nice view on the lake. We would love to come back one day.

Amazing experience! Location was very convenient, rooms very clean and lovely common spaces (nice view of Lake Argentino’). There is a nice little garden that will welcome you with beautiful flowers. Hosts were very friendly and helpful to organize our days and suggest restaurants. We totally recommend it!

Ian and Tatiana's service is so great, they make you feel at home on arrival (especially after a long drive!). It is in a great location to explore Calafate and the glacier. The rooms are really cosy and super clean, but the highlights are the beautiful gardens the delicious breakfast. Ian is super knowledgeable about the area and seemed super happy to help with anything at all that we needed/ were curious about!

Wow incredible experience. We only had to tell the hotel our dietary restrictions once over email, and everything was perfect and ready to go when we got there (I am celiac & lactose intolerant and my friend is vegan). The breakfast was amazing and the views of the backyard were beautiful. Incredible hospitality and vibes. Will be back!

Very nice, clean and comfortable. The hosts made helpful recommendations and even had a generator when the power went out. The area is safe and close to restaurants and shops. Bathroom clean and modern. The only warning is the skeleton key, it can be difficult to operate the first time.
