Meh! Two possibilities: the standard of 4* in Argentina is very low, or this hotel has been a bit abandoned lately.
The location is great and the views are definitely amazing. However, for 170USD a night I would have expected a better state of the room. Only a few sockets to connect your phone, horrible (very white and bright!) lamp on night table, toilet seat clearly has had many years of use, no toilet brush (you need to ask for it and they give you a huge toilet brush in a plastic bag with no holder). There is also no restaurant in the hotel btw.
Breakfast is fine for Argentine standards but nothing out of this world, with a very cheap quality ham ("paleta" in the local vocabulary)
The attention is fine.
We went there in high season (mid January) and only 4 rooms were occupied.
Price-quality is very bad in my opinion. The hotel is fine, but one would expect way much more for this price in Purmamarca.
It could be that the business model is not working and they need to cut some costs. Honestly, no idea, but I hope this review helps the administration to consider some changes.
