I had hot pot for the first time with Andy here—what an amazing experience! The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was incredible. I’ll definitely be back! The toro and dumplings were outstanding, and the Thai broth was to die for.

As someone who has never had this type of cuisine before, this was nothing short of exceptional. While the beef, Thai and Miso were great, the Kimchi was out of this world. However great the food may be though, we were greeted by one of the friendliest staff. Kim went above and beyond to not only ensure we had a great dining experience, but also took time to chat with us and answer any questions we had about the island. I'd happily return for the food, but it'd make my day to encounter Kim again!

We love this place so much. All the broths are delicious, they have a great variety of add ons to put in your broth at a very good price. The service is amazing as well.

This place is my go-to for date night, and all around my #1 choice for a friend’s food outing. The staff are such a friendly family and very helpful for first-timers. The food is always prepared incredibly. Highly recommend the Thai broth and rib eye meat. Everything is great and I wish I could eat here every day!

Fantastic food and such a fun experience! You can fully customize your hot pot by choosing from several broth options and a wide selection of fresh veggie / starch / protein items from the fridge, each with a clearly color-coded price. Very vegan friendly - they have a vegan broth and 3 broths that can be veganized (Thai, miso and kimchee), and several types of tofu for protein. Our total for 2 came to $40 plus tip, and we were full! Highly recommend it (they also have another location in Honolulu).

Loved eating at Hot Pot Heaven last night! Tried the miso and the thai broths. Both were amazing. Lots of add-in options. The homemade gyoza were great. And the service was excellent! Can't wait to go back.

A wonderful low key Hot Pot Restaurant with very good quality products! We had Rib Eye, Brisket, Pork Belly and home made gyoza dumplings along with an assortment of fresh veggies. We had the Thai broth which was very flavorful and my Thai wife gave it the nod and of approval right away! We love the entire meal and the service was excellent and very friendly! To finish off we had the Sesame Balls and we had to fight over the last one! Of course we shared it! We will definitely be back and highly recommend to others who love hot pot!

My boyfriend and I came here to eat dinner and it was busy on a Friday night. I like how there's plenty of toppings and meat here. You can share a hotpot soup in half and order separate soups. It was definitely worth coming here. There might be a wait as it's small inside. Service was excellent and great by the people working here. Parking is directly up front. Highly recommend

We parked along the side and went in through the front entrance. The restaurant is very clean and nicely organized! We sat at two tables to accommodate our large party of 7. The soups are very flavorful with a wide variety of sides and meat! Our server was amazing! I wish I would have caught her name! Their sauce counter had more selection than most places I've seen. Wonderful dinner to feed a large party! Definitely recommend this place!

There's not many hot pot spots near Kailua, but luckily this place does it well. The meats are good cuts and the broths are flavorful. The sauce and topping bar has many options and even a small list of recommendations for your chosen meats/veggies. Service is very fast, friendly, and attentive. Overall this a nice casual restaurant for some food hot pot. The price point is a bit high (spent $89+ tip for 2 ppl) considering we stuck to broth, meat, veggies, and water. Although considering the food quality is higher than some ayce places, it's worth it. They also have a stamp card program for return customers. With such a convenient location, ample parking, friendly staff, and delicious food, we'll definitely continue to visit!

Not that bad, but not too great. The service was friendly and my friends and I were sat right away on a Friday evening. However, the meat quality wasn't super great and they didn't have any traditional Chinese style broths and very limited spicy options. The meal came to about $40/person which is too much for the quality received. Sauce bar was also very limited.

We love coming here. It's a special treat for the kids to pick out the items. Good food and service.

I can't think of a reason not to give this 5 stars. They had a fine variety of broths and were happy to make any of them vegetarian. The range of ingredients that you could pick from the refrigerated cabinets was quite stunning. Finally the person serving us could not have been more helpful. I can't speak to the selection of meats because we are all vegetarian. As vegetarians, we could not have been happier. The price for 4 1/2 of us came to $25 per adult.

It was kind of on a lark that we ended up here. We had been to Book Ends to find some books for my wife to read while in Hawaii. We started looking at some other places, but they did not have sit down seating for a very late lunch. But this place did. I had had shabu shabu in Japan, but not the Vietnamese/Hawaiian version. We had to first pick our broth. We chose a Vietnamese sweet and sour, which turned out to be an excellent choice. Then we went to their coolers and picked shrimp, soba noodles, mushrooms, green spinach and various condiments. The only person working there explained the process and what best would accompany our choices. He was most helpful. You cook your food in the broth, hence the designation hot pot. It was really good! Not crowded, so we could take our time. We both really enjoyed this place and highly recommend it.

Hot pot heaven is perfect on a rainy day... or any day. Choice of broth, pick your ingredients... eat a lot or just a little. Love the homemade dumplings and the nice assortment of veggies, starches and meats. Kim is amazing! The restaurant is so nice and clean and all of the food is so delicious! Great selection of Fresh everything... first time here and it's a gotta return kind of experience.

Awesome restaurant. The owner Jimmy is a great host. Service was excellent. Food was even better. The price for a meal for 4 was amazing. Love this place. Will be trying the McCully one next. Sitting outside at night in Kailua town added to the atmosphere. If looking for great food for a great price and great service try this place. One of my new favorite places to eat. I just came here for a visit with my family of five, and we all thoroughly enjoyed the food! This place is pay-per-plate (not all you can eat), and the total for our party of five ended up being around $85 before tip. We got the Thai Broth at level 5/10 spice and the Miso Broth (not spicy). Most of the party enjoyed the Thai Broth more, but the Miso is also great and preferable for people who do not want spice. Both broths already came with a few additions to the soup. For example, the miso had some tofu and seaweed in it. For meats, we enjoyed the ribeye more than the brisket, but both were good. We also ordered chicken breast and shrimp (comes whole and in the shell). We also got lots of yummy veggies and fresh noodles from the self-serve fridge. Honestly, I like this restaurant more than Shabuya at Ala Moana Mall. The broth here was rich and flavorful, the meats were good quality, and the restaurant had a small homely feel. Our server was very friendly and helped walk my parents through what to do since it was their first time at a hot pot restaurant. I look forward to returning in the future!

This place allows seating until 8:30 pm and stays serving food for a good while after so get in there! I consider this place a lucky find for me. I was hungry for protein and it smelled great so I went in. Their toro beef was particularly good, and the ribeye, shortrib, pork belly, and lamb was also good. They use plate colors for pricing and all the side dishes are arranged in the display fridges so you can select what you want and bring it to your table. There was a pleasing variety of vegetables, like bok choy and choy sum and shimeji and enoki mushrooms and way more. Also had the standard fish balls, tobiko balls, meat balls, and some other fun pre-sliced fish cuts and cooked beef on bone for boiling. The plethora of sauces like miso, black bean, two types of spicy sauce, ginger sauce, soy, a house sauce, and tons more were perfect for trying out. Oh yeah, their chicken broth and their beef broth were both hearty. Beef was like pho and the chicken was just very satisfying to drink. They had even fancier soup bases that I didn't get around to trying. Service was fast and responsive. Lovely people. This really hit the spot so I am extremely happy with dining here.

Lots of options for broth and what you want to put in your soup, tried the Japanese and Thai style broths and lots of mushrooms and veggies. Plenary of options, delicious, nice staff and affordable. And, it's BYO! Awesome.

Came here on a Tuesday at lunch, and we were very satisfied with the food, service, and ambiance! Here is what we got: 1. The miso and Thai soup. These are the two most popular broths. Both were wonderful and aren't broth flavors that are found in other hot pot places! 2. Rib Eye and Short Rib. I forgot which was which, but I enjoyed the one that was more lean! 3. I enjoy how you choose your own side dishes from the refrigerator! Ingredients were fresh and unique to Hawaiian hot pot 4. For sauces, try their house sauce! It is sweet and goes well with the broths and meat Though it was a hot 80 degree day, the food and our experience here was awesome. For 4 people, we spent about $80

Awesome experience! Same parking lot as Kaiser Kailua. Right by where the old Jarron's restaurant was. Parking was no problem at 7pm on a Thursday. Our servers and check in helper were Amazing!! Super friendly and helpful. The broth selection was good. Lots and lots of choices for ingredients. Everything fresh. The space was Very clean. and not too crowded. Had a homey vibe and good ambiance. Outside seating of you don't mind the warm Kailua weather. We called ahead to check time availability and they added us to the list so we had zero wait time. Super fantastic!! My two kids loved their first experience and had a blast making their pot. We will definitely be back!

After driving by the Hot Pot Heaven (HPH) in Kailua for better than a year we finally decided it was time to try them out. Having now eaten there twice we feel like we owe them an apology for not becoming one of their satisfied customers earlier. The broths are numerous and very good. The proteins are varied and very flavorful. Even though it's what you'd expect/hope HPH definitely offers many fresh ingredients and in-house made dumplings. Hot Pot Heaven is a must. You can't find a better or more enjoyable meal. Obviously, we're very happy with our discovery and will return regularly.

Can't go wrong with Hot Pot! Lots of sides to choose from, individually wrapped by plate color in the fridge. Much cleaner than AYCE places, and not crowded at all. Outdoor seating available, lots of parking.

Arrived just before closing, but treated well and unrushed. Interesting concept and enjoyed the food.

A friend recommended my boyfriend and I to come try Hot Pot Heaven in Kailua! Since we were in the area we went ahead to dine-in here! *** Notes *** They have a huge lot in the back and they do accept walk-ins! *** Our Order *** Miso Broth ~ (9/10) Super good light broth! I like how they added seaweed to broth as well! If I come back I would get this broth again! Thai Broth ~ (7/10) My boyfriend got this broth and I tried it, but I wasn't really a big fan. It was a little bit too spicy for me. But my boyfriend liked it a lot! Beef Toro Meat ~ (7/10) The meat was pretty decent! The quality of the meat was good too. It tasted really well with the Miso broth because it soaked up everything! Overall, The broth was really good! Service was good too, staff was really friendly! For the overall price of everything it was a little pricey, but I wouldn't mind coming back once in awhile!

A gem!!! We love this place so much. The Kim chee and beef is our favorites !!! My kids like the miso. Lots of choices of veggies and meat options. Friendly staff. Such a great experience. We ate both inside and outside, and it doesn't matter where you sit, place is comfortable! We really enjoyed outside though. A plus, we get to take home our leftovers. Definitely going back over and over again!

Unexpected surprise! I had Thai and chicken basis soup. My family had amazing dinner over there!

After this bi polar, rainy, & chilly weather wanted something warm.. Now This is our new favorite Hot pot place & close to home. Very clean, awesome friendly service, & All the dishes were so fresh. Will definitely be back to try the other broths & dishes!!

First time trying hot pot and this place was great! It's a cute small restaurant and the woman up front was very friendly and helpful. The Thai broth was our favorite for sure accompanied with the rib eye steak. Would love to come back here whenever we visit again.

Saw the sign for hot pot and knew I had to stop by here! There is a parking lot on the side with ample space and the interior is clean and bright. You choose 1-2 broths, and then the various toppings/meats you want. The service was friendly and attentive. They accept credit card and check your vaccination status/ID. We got the beef broth and it tasted very light and flavorful. You can get unlimited refills of the broth. We enjoyed the variety of packaged sauces from ponzu to bean curd to hoisin to sambal. The ingredients were fresh and portioned well. 4 of us ate until we were full and the bill before tip came out to around $60. Definitely recommend!

OMG OMG OMG. This place is freakin delicious and adorable. We were hungry for something warm after laying out a Lanika Beach and stumbled upon this gem on Yelp. Saw the great reviews and loved the fact that it was charged by plate so decided to try it out. We got the Korean soup base and Thai soup and omg delicious. So good we went back a second time to their Honolulu location. The Thai soup base is a MUST TRY. If you like Tom yum soup a spicy and sour/sweet soup then get it! We're from California and this was the best Thai soup weve ever had!! The guys running this shop are amazing too. So friendly and fast. They made us feel just at home. Everything is super fresh and clean as well. And the sauce bar is awesome!! Thank you to our server JJ for taking such good care of us! We will alway remember this place and you! Mahalo!!

Soooo ono!! Very covid and allergy friendly. Really clean inside too. The owner is super sweet. So happy these guys moved to the Windward side. Thai broth was killer.

I gotta start off by saying, the staff here are so attentive to your needs. And it's the same owners as the McCully Shopping Center location! We even got to meet the owner tonight and chatted with him for a little bit. Husband and wife dynamic duo. And as of today (Nov 2021) they've been open for about 5 months now. Got the miso broth, which in my opinion was amazing! It even came with tofu and seaweed inside! There's something special in the broth, that makes it different from other places. I can't even pinpoint what it is, but it's great! Their beef balls and tsukune from the fridge are also really yummy too! Don't forget to get or use your stamp card when you go! All in all, there's not many options for good hot pot places available in Kailua. So I'm super happy that they opened up out here. I wish nothing but the best success for them and we'll definitely be back!

Getting back to dining in this Hot Pot Heaven eatery, if U enjoy Cooking & Choosing your Own Selections of your Broth, Meats, Veggies, Dipping Sauces, etc, you will enjoy eating here!! This Restaurant is always Clean, Great Service here from Doan (Mahalo Doan 4 your great Service always!!) & A very young man named Noah, Omg, he's Super young (IMO & Hubby!!) & he's Super Nice & Friendly, even if he forgot My Spring Roll Dipping Sauce & more Napkins a few times, but hey he was Busy assisting other tables at the time, so I understand Noah, your in-between juggling Customers here & there!! Ooh btw, we did finally tried the "Thai Broth" the last, last time (haha!) we ate here, but of course it was a bit too Spicy 4 me & too Sour for the Hubby (but I must add that the Thai Broth is very Tasty!!!), k cleared that up!! Lol. Then, after you choose your Flava, Flava of your Broths, you head on over to the Refrigerated area, where u choose what U want to eat & as your Selecting your food choices, keep in mind also that the plates R all color coded Accordingly, (Green, Red, Yellow, etc), & ea Color plates are all priced differently. You may also order their different many Selections of Beef, Pork, Chicken also to your Waitrer/Waitress, to add into your Delicious simmering Hot Pot Bowl of Yumminess, & those price ranges from $5.00+ & up, depending on what u are Ono for. Swing on over to their "Sauce Area", u again will Select what kinds of dipping Sauces u would like, while you're enjoying your Hot Pot Yummy meal!! Rice is served upon your request, no charge for the Rice, yayyyy! Then Cook away to your heart content for your Meal here!! It's pretty relaxing here @the Hot Pot Heaven Kailua, Comfy with A/C too, yessss!! Lol. They do have Restrooms here, located outside & just ask them for the key. They also have Sodas & other drinks served here. Happy that they have Diet Pepsi here, sometimes I do want to order a Soda (few times!) & majority of the Restaurants that we go to all only have Diet Coke, Booo! Haha! Totally forgot to mention about their homemade SPRING ROLLS, I really enjoy them, Tasty, Crunchy goodness all the time they are, & sometimes they do run out & I'm bummed!! Sigh. But, if they do run out, that's when I'll order a Side order of Brisket to go with our Meal. Don't forget to ask for the Yummy SPRING ROLL Dipping Sauce, I luv the SPRING ROLLS here!!! They also do have a "Stamp Card" System here, they'll stamp your Card here after ea. Meal, that's Cool! After 6 or 8 Stamps on your Card, you will get to choose a Free Broth of your Choice. We've had many times of these perks from the McCully Hot Pot Heaven in the past over the years, Hana hou, yayyyy!! Heehee! This is by far the best hot pot experience we've had! This is the only place we come to for hot pot. To start, the service is always so friendly, timely, and accommodating. We love everyone who works here! The food is amazing and the ingredients taste fresh. We always struggle to choose a broth because they're all SO good! Our favorites are the Thai broth and miso! Additionally, we never have to wait for a table which is great. The place is clean, bright, and welcoming. Definitely recommend!

Fast and friendly service. We ordered Thai Tom Yum and Vietnamese Canh Chua broths. Both were perfectly flavored. Love the fact that we can go up to the fridge and grab what we like to put in our hot pot. Highly recommend!!!!!

Love the concept! Great broth options that have some great flavor. I like that you can choose what meat, veggies, dumplings, or other items so you can get exactly what and how much you want. I really like the dumplings, and they have my favorite- lotus root! Always have received friendly service. A great option if you visit Kailua!

This was a pleasant surprise for my family and I while we were on the island. The hostess was very patient and very kind and explained everything to us and the food was delicious. I would highly recommend this place. It's very family friendly it's very clean, and the service is outstanding.

Hidden hot pot location in central Kailua. Open for both lunch and dinner this place now has a second location in Kailua. I've gone to their town location many times but I only recently found out that they have a new location in Kailua. Lunch is also a great time to go since it is not too busy and I almost want to say that the ingredients are fresher. Hot pot is also great for groups as well! Favorite broths: Thai Kimchee (Spice levels can be adjusted) *Also, follow them on Instagram since I believe they will be offering lunch specials soon including garlic shrimp. For a little over $10 you get more than 10 pieces of shrimp. (Much cheaper than Giovannis and it's still so yummy) Parking: There is a private lot connected to this building structure with many other businesses nearby. Parking shouldn't be an issue since there are many stalls.

Hot pot Heaven in Kailua is a treasure. The gentleman who was running the counter and running the restaurant was pleasant and friendly. The menu options were vast and the food was absolutely delicious. We loved the assortment of seasonings and additions to add to our soup as well as the prepared choices in the fridge. We chose two different Broths for four people as well as lots of veggies and meat. We really enjoyed our lunch and will be back!

Family owned, fresh, fast and convenient. Love being able to pick what you want for veggies etc from the fridge. Broths are well done and the pork rolls are yummy. Can call for resy. So happy to have this option locally.

The server was very knowledgeable about my gluten allergy. We were able to have majority of the soup broths (except 2), all of the meats, and most of the items they offer in the fridge! Our server had a bit of an accent, but didn't mind when we asked multiple questions and had a great attitude and smile overall. It was a cute little hot pot place, and there wasn't a wait (Thursday night). The broths were a but bland in the beginning, but after adding copious amounts of veggies, sauces, and meats, the soup started to gain more flavor!

It's an easy place to miss since you can't see it from the road, but it's such a GEM of a place! Small and simple setup. Their customer service is absolutely amazing! My husband wasn't sure what broth he wanted to try and was hesitant about trying the Seafood one. The server brought out a small bowl for him to try before he ordered it. No other hot pot place has ever offered that. And they kept checking on us throughout the dinner. We got a split pot - Seafood (medium spice) broth and Chicken broth. I liked the simple chicken broth so I could try all their different sauces without the sauce/broth overpowering the other flavor. My favorite sauce mix was the House with the Spicy Sate. We just did 3 different meats and got the rest of our food from the fridges. They have a great variety of veggies, noodles, gyoza/shumai. For 2 of us we spent $70 and then gave a good tip cause their service was first rate.

What a gem! I reached out to Hot Pot Heaven to ask if they had any gluten free options. The owner responded immediately and explained the menu. She was so thorough and kind! We headed over immediately and we're greeted by a super kind and accommodating staff. Seriously, the people here are just the sweetest! They had a large selection of broths, meats, noodles, sauces and so many veggies to choose from! The soup was so delicious! Everything was super fresh and flavorful. We will definitely be returning (a lot!)

The hot pot craze continues and this newcomer is a good one. Offers vegan broth option with a frig full of fresh ingredients that are charged by the plate color. Table top portable stove worked good and heats fast, shimmers well. Adjacent parking makes this an easy to go place. Service is great and wait staff knows their products and ways to enjoy. BYOB option.
