Karra is amazing! My first cut was great and each one after has been fine-tuned to be even better. I couldn't recommend coming to her any more highly. Also fantastic is that the price is incredibly reasonable.

Got a haircut from Hot Shaves last Friday and I couldn't be more pleased! Loved the shop right when I walked in. Very friendly and welcoming. Had a great cut from Kerra...loved talking with her and I appreciated her advice on my cut. She will be my barber from now on. I am a woman with very short hair and after always going to regular salons and paying way too much for services that I didn't need it was a real treat to find this place. Great place and great people together with incredible service......I will refer them to anyone I can.

I’ve been getting my haircut by Karra for almost 2 years now and couldn’t recommend anyone more. I’ve gotten $65 haircuts in cities like Dallas & NYC that weren’t nearly as good as hers are. She pays attention & is extremely detailed; it’s why I keep coming back. The booking platform she uses is incredibly easy to use online as well. For the quality & value of the cut, you’d be stupid to go anywhere else.

Best haircut I've ever had. Always appreciate small businesses that make their service an experience, not just a paycheck. Lynne cut my hair and she was very kind, paid attention to the smallest details. Karra welcomed me and it felt like I was visiting family, super comfortable and kind. She even helped out on some parts of the cut that Lynne asked her to do. Hope my hair grows fast so I can come back soon

Excellent experience and result. Got a great cut, Karra was extremely meticulous about determining what I wanted and getting every hair right. Hot towel, wash, and scalp massage was a major bonus, all included in the price. Will be going back every time I need a cut!

If I had one thing to say it'd be I wish Karra's shop wasn't so far away from home! I had a phenomenal experience. Made an appointment for the signature cut, beard, and mustache trim. I have never been this satisfied with a haircut. Truly a master at her craft. Incredibly affordable and an absolute pleasure to meet.

I brought my husband in for a hot shave like we used to get from Art of the Shave. Nope. They just gldova hot towel shave. They did a decent job and price is okay but not what was desired.

Kara shaved my head, my face and shaped my goatee. It was amazing, my head is as smooth as a babies behind so is my face and my goatee is a work of art. Thank you Karra

Both Karra and Rachel are outstanding barbers. I relocated to the area and was looking for a new barber shop. I tried them out, Karra the first time and Rachel the second. They both gave me a perfect high and tight fade. No kidding, I will say again outstanding job and in my book that is better than excellent. They both are very personable and the shop is cool. Coffee etc is available. Guys, if you need a haircut and/or shave stop in and see them. Karra and Rachel thank you for both for your perfect hair cut! I am hooked and will be back.

Have been a client for several months now. Have had excellent experiences every time. Rachel and Cara do a great job and take there time. Quick neck and back massage is a nice touch. Make sure to make an appointment. I generally spend an hour with neck shave and beard trim after hair cut.

Let's just say I'm a super picky ex barber who hasn't been able to find a barber who would cut hair as I would. I found one in this shop, Rachel. She's upbeat, friendly and had mad skills! I haven't been this happy with my hair in 25+ years. I'll be going here for as long as it's open and would highly recommend it to anyone!

A slam dunk 5 star experience! I was here on business and Yelp once again steered me in the right direction. Hot Shaves is wonderful in every way. I love the online booking feature. Go through Yelp to the Hot Shaves website, pick your service, date, and time...and you are all set. They offer an array of services including a shave so you select what you want. I signed up for the basic cut with Karra and it was great! The best service I have had in years. Close cut with a straight razor on the neckline. Shampoo and head massage with a hot towel on your face. Finished up with a neck and shoulder massage. Incredible service in a very relaxed atmosphere. If I lived in Myrtle Beach, Hot Shaves would be my barbershop and when I visit it will be. What a great experience!

Fantastic shave, top notch service and value! I was in the area for the bike rally, and decide that my beard was too much to manage and had to go. I showed up at their opening time, and made an appointment. Luckily, they were able to see me later the same day. The barber was very attentive, and went above and beyond to give me the best barbershop shave I've had in a very long time. I plan on making Hot Shaves part of my regular rally stops!

Like most of the people who go here I'm an out of towner. Back home I have a barber who does my hair the way I want it so I was nervous going to a new place. Luckily this place is incredible. I was definitely not expecting the level of care that I received. The haircut was flawless. Lynn is a trained barber so she is skilled in the ways of the razor but she also is a veteran hair stylist so you're going to get a way better looking cut than your standard barber. The cut was just the beginning though. You get a straight razor neck shave and included with the standard cut price I got a great shampoo with scalp massage and a shoulder massage. You're not going to get that anywhere else for $25. Thanks ladies!

I came here for a Marine regulation haircut before the USMC birthday ball. We chatted for a couple minutes to ensure we were on the same page then I let Rachel work her magic. Completely satisfied! She is thorough and meticulous with her attention to detail.

I just moved here. I'm a public figure and have little to no hair, but need it cut and looking good every time. I hate being a number. You come here and they take their time giving you a hot shave and facial experience. I will call this my hometown barber shop before any shoot now. Great place.

I had never had a "haircutting experience" until I went to Hot Shaves. And I'm not sure I could ever go back to the old way! These two ladies do a great job with cutting my hair, and even teaching me how to style it. I've made a few changes to how I get it cut in the past 3 years, and they have helped me adjust each time. I recommend Hot Shaves Barber Shop to all of my friends. It's made it harder to get appointments, but everyone deserves the best

I have been going to Hot Shaves for just over a year. I really hate to say this, because they were absolutely stellar when I first started, but the service, and the quality of cuts seems to have gone down dramatically. For the price, which is not unreasonable, (not withstanding their most recent 25 percent price increase), I expected a cut which was superior to that I could experience in normal salons and barber shops. The past three cuts I, sadly, have not seen that. The service seems rushed. The instruments, especially the spider looking scalp massager is not sanitized between uses, and at least my barber, Karra, has not really seemed to care much. I got my last cut at a cut rate salon/barber chain and have to say it was equal to that which I have been receiving at Hot Shaves, though the shop was certainly not as nice or intimate. I'm very disappointed not to be able to rave about Hot Shaves, because I really really preferred going there, but, with regret, I'm done.

I had a Myrtle Beach deal saver for this new location. I have been looking for a superior barber in Myrtle Beach for over a decade. Karra was professional, entertaining, and meticulous with both my haircut and spa shave. Not since I left Chicago have I found such an incredible barber. You'll catch me in here every month!!!

Travelled to Myrtle from Va for my brother's wedding and after looking for days for a straight razor shave in my hometown before i left, found this gem on yelp. She was even kind enough to change my appointment twice after my travel plans were unexpectedly delayed several times. The actual shave experience was gentle and thorough, using essential oils for pre- & post-shave treatment and even cleaned up a previous cut for no charge-my tip covered the expense of course; it was totally worth it. I definitely recommend Karra to anyone needing a cut or shave in the Myrtle area! Very reasonable and inviting!

Went here for the first time earlier today and I couldn't be happier with my experience. Karra was excellent and did a great job. Booking my appointment was also super easy thanks to their app. The atmosphere is awesome and the staff is super friendly. I will definitely be recommending this place to anyone that will listen.

Absolutely the best! My 87 yr old father has been a customer for almost a year and it is a treat to take him in. These women are fun, great at their service, and so kind to my dad. Highly recommend for anyone, what a great gift for any man.
