Hot Shott Cafe is an absolute gem on the Gold Coast! The location is stunning — a beautiful spot to relax and soak up the atmosphere. The food and coffee were fantastic, but what really stood out was the outstanding staff. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about what they do. It made the whole experience extra special. Can’t wait to come back soon — highly recommended!

Hot Shott is hands down the best café I’ve experienced while living on the Gold Coast. This place never misses. The staff are sharp and switched on, they notice what you need before you even ask and keep checking in without being annoying. That kind of service is rare. I’ve tried pretty much everything on the menu, and here is real talk: nothing has ever been undercooked or overcooked. Not once. Even when the place is packed, the food comes out fast, fresh, and on point. The vibe inside is warm, relaxed, and welcoming perfect whether you’re chilling solo or rolling through with friends.

We have dined here two days in a row and ordered 4 different meals. They were all delicious and generous servings. The meals came out really quickly despite being busy and the staff were all lovely. Will definitely come here again :)

ONE OF THE VERY BEST BREAKFAST EVER! Coming from Melbourne which prides itself as the Cafe extraordinaire - GC has a secret up their sleeves. The food was amazing. Every bite was delicious and a feast for the taste senses. We loved everything. The coffees were also very good. Great service too. It was very busy for a Wednesday morning so can imagine this is a top drawcard in the area. If I lived around there I would be here all the time. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!

Place was highly recommended by a friend and was v pleasantly surprised with the slider trio. Quite a big serving & was big enough to share between two. Freshly squeezed juice was well worth it as well. Overall, the vibes were nice & servers were friendly. You’re really getting a bang for your buck here :)

August 2025 Our Sunday brunch at Hot Shot Cafe was quite enjoyable. The atmosphere was lively, the service was friendly and attentive, and the food was fresh and delicious. However, we did encounter an issue with a side of avocado that we hadn’t ordered. We decided to keep it, but unfortunately it had a hard texture and was black inside, indicating it had passed its prime, so we had to have it removed from the bill. Despite this hiccup, I would highly recommend this cafe for a lovely experience at Main Beach.

Had their hot breakfast meal and it was the perfect sampler — everything you’d want for a solid, satisfying brekky. Portions are big too, so next time I’d probably share! The venue is in such a nice spot, super chill vibes haha. And the citrus juice? Exactly what I needed for that immunity boost.

Excellent service from all the staff this morning even though they were very busy. Also very accommodating with our not on the menu orders. And when the food arrived it was delicious. Note that my wife and I had the best coffees we've had on the coast here! Highly recommend you give them a go for breakfast.

Great food, great coffee and atmosphere, you definitely pay for what you get though so we definitely couldn't afford to eat here every day. Amazing service too everyone was lovely

The newest place @ Main Beach. A great place for breakfast and lunch. We arrived at 1245 and didn't leave till 1600 and the place was still nearly full. Menu not extensive but the food quality is very good. Has a great outdoor area on the street. Alcohol is well priced.

Awesome food and an awesome location. My only drawback was that our order came out wrong and we were charged for something different to what we had asked for. Prices are reasonable for what you get and the coffee is good. The place always seems to be busy. I would go back but be sure to double check on the bill.
