Hotaluna

The highlight of our trip to Odaiba was the sea cruise. We rode the Hotaluna, and it felt like stepping onto a spaceship. The design was so sleek and futuristic. The staff were lovely and made us feel welcome. Even though it's a popular attraction, the ship didn't feel crowded at all. There was plenty of space on the top deck for everyone to move around and get their pictures without bumping into each other. The views of the Tokyo skyline from the water were 10/10. Tip for first-timers: Try to time your ride for right around sunset. In late December, we took the 5 PM boat and it was perfect. We saw the city transition to nighttime lights while planes flew low overhead toward Haneda Airport. It made the "sci-fi" vibe of the boat feel even more real!

The cruise from Hinode Sanbashi to Asakusa by fabulous ship. The announce was recorded by famous voice actors. I’m not good at Japanese animation, but they are maybe voice actors from “Ginga tetsudo 999.” That’s because these modern ships are designed by Matsumoto Reiji. Interior is also nice and too clean. We can enjoy the views of beer cloud and sky tree and a lot of famous historical bridges. Not allowed to go outside is a bit of downer.

Here you can get a close look at various scenic spots along Tokyo's Sumida River, including the IBM headquarters 、Tokyo Tower,、Skytree... and other well-known places. It is highly recommended for foreign tourists to visit.

A Futuristic boat with spacecraft-like appearance and a futuristic inboard design .It takes about 50 minute crossing of the Sumida river to Odaiba. Sail under the many bridges and the view along sumida river are beautiful and different, to get to Odaiba. The structure of this boat allows for an important view both to the sides and above, because the roof is also made of glass. Odaiba is a stop worth considering to get a complete view of Tokyo.
