This is 2 star hotel. Hardest beds ever. Musty smell so needed to leave window open to sleep at night. Old and very basic like a dorm room. Food and staff were good. Same bland pastries they almost all tasted the same for included breakfast. Served with can fruit, sliced deli ham and sliced cheese, and TANG orange juice. It was 5 days of mediocre for a conference in their meeting space. Banquet meals were okay...no vegetables literally meat and potatoes but that could have been what conference planner ordered. If you have a choice, stay elsewhere.

I stayed at Hotel 13 de Julio for a conference. This is a two star hotel. Old, rusty, musty with the Hardest beds ever. Staff was accommodating and the food was okay except it was the exact same bland pastries and deli every day for breakfast

The hotel specializes on big groups and conventions, so some days it’s packed and other days its quiet calm. Staff is nice and efficient.||Rooms are very outdated -expect 70´s décor with green carpets- and mattresses are probably from that date, but overall the rooms are clean. They don´t offer an iron but they offer pressing service.||Request room with ocean view, the higher the better (the hotel goes up to the 22 floor)||Free Wi-Fi but sometimes it doesn’t work in the rooms (particularly if the hotel is packed). ||It is not fancy but well located: two blocks from the beach, 3 the blocks from the San Martin Pedestrian Street.

I stayed here for a meeting in November 2013. The property is dated and not well maintained. The rooms are small and not particularly comfortable, Food was decent and the wireless internet connection performed well. I would not choose to stay here again considering the many other choices in Mar del Plata.

This is a very old hotel with no A/C, but has ceiling fan instead. Completely out dated rooms. Needs major upgrade. I would rate this as a 1 star hotel. Lobby is nice.
