Hotel 15 de Mayo LA PERLA

Happy with this hotel. Environment, staffs' behaviour, free breakfast, free wifi and many more made me happy. Rooms are neat and clean. Reception is smiley and warm. They take care of the client properly. Washroom was wide enough to use comfortably. Cost seems reasonable to me comparing with the service I got from a 3 star hotel like this. Thanks.

Let me add the caveat that I was traveling in Mar del Plata at probably the lowest point of their low season (July) so deals at hotels there were plentiful. I walked around for about 2 hours looking at hotels and the minute I walked in to the Mar del Plata I knew I would stay there. It is a very modern feeling hotel in the exterior and lobby. The staff was exceptionally friendly, courteous and helpful with tips about the area, where to go, where to eat, etc. The room was spacious, clean, with modern furniture, and a very comfortable bed. The wi-fi was fast and consistent. The central air was comfortable and easy to adjust. The breakfast (which is included in the price) was excellent, a nice mix of hot and cold items and delicious coffee. Given the amount I paid this is an excellent value and while I'm sure the price will go up in summer, it will still be a great value given all that you get for your money.

this place is mostly frequented by Argentine retirees, but plays Rolling Stones instead of MUZAK, so get the picture: the hotel was finished in 2009, it's new, it's well appointed, small but adequate rooms, free computers in lobby, wifi in room was not exactly useful, but a good bed, breakfast buffet and great location, economical taxis in front, easy to use bus system 100 yards, and neighborhood stores around the corner are all plusses for the frugal and fearless traveler. 3 blocks from beach blvd and a $4 usd cab ride from new bus terminal. The staff was very forthcoming and friendly. We were the only foreign tourists during our 3 night stay and would recommend it to anyone not looking for decibel infested destination.

Nice location, staff, gym, pool! Small bathroom and few power plugs in the room

Good in everything but the breakfast a big disappointment.
