Hotel 1929

The rooms are ideal for a short stay. The hotel is located near Chinatown and is conveniently close to many tourist attractions. You can enjoy the vibrant, beautiful streets and find excellent food nearby at night. It's recommended to book a room with a balcony for a picture-perfect view outside.

The hotel has good access to the public transportation as two metro stations are nearby (Chinatown to its north and Outram Park to its west). Living here makes it easy for me to get around Singapore. The Check-in process was smooth, no deposit required. Receptionists are polite and hospitable and. The room is clean, though there is not much space between the bed and the wall. But considering the bang for the buck, it should not be complained. And when I found the water heater at my room was not working, the staff helped me change my room to a much bigger one. Generally speaking, the hotel is good. You should go there if you aim at cost-efficiency.

Nice boutique hotel at a convenient location. About 5 mins walk from Outram MRT. The room is decent (compact and cozy), though can tell that the building is a little old. Soundproof isn’t that great but still acceptable. TV has Netflix - quite good for staycay. Check in and check out process was fuss free. Nearby has nice eateries

De hotel is perfect located in a trendy part of China town. The rooms are small but OK for Singapore standard. Great value for the money. Breakfast options nearby. Near subway stations, many good Chinese food restaurants and streetfood nearby. Hotelstaff is friendly and helpful

Great spot in China town but that's the only thing going for it. Worst hotel ever, left a day early. Room didn't look anything like the photos, no window for a start. Tiny space with too much furniture, hard bed, bright green light in roof lit up the whole room at night, no knob on shower so it was hard to adjust temp and turn off and on, air conditioning dripping water constantly right in front of toilet.

The hotel is old and need to be renovated.We arrived at the hotel at 11pm after a long flightAnd they gave us a tiny standard room(photos) because they don’t have any other room available even if we booked a deluxe room.I had to make a complain to TRIP.com then the morning after they give us a Deluxe room.Avoid to book the standard room,there is no space for luggage,toilet and shower have the same cabin space and the sink is outside the bathroom. A great, friendly hotel in an excellent location for a Chinatown visit. Close to train stations and good food options. Excellent value for money too. The staff are very helpful and pleasant to deal with. I would stay again and recommend Hotel 1929.
