Hotel 3 Vallées - Val Thorens

This was a gem of a find. The hotel is located in the centre top of Val Tho, 10m from being able to ski to the pistes, and if you can get to the carrefour market lift, 10m back ski in.||What is a stand out is the excellence of the service, that Alexis has instilled in ALL his staff. From the superb Sebastian at reception, and his multi language skills, to the restaurant staff and housekeeping. They are genuinely focused on making our stay as easy and comfortable as possible and it really made a great positive impact. Top recommendation and thanks to those 2 and all the staff.||We were lucky to have an upgraded room, which was magnificent and highly recommended. Individual sauna, bubble bath and large space, but even the std rooms are spacious and amazingly for France, with lots of storage and hangers etc.|The hotel is quiet, superbly run, clean and with a great bar area.||My one recommendation, is to somehow upgrade the boot storage area (right next to reception), which may be a structural challenge.|We very much look forward to coming again.

Wonderful stay over Christmas! The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The rooms are clean, cozy, and very comfortable, with a beautiful mountain view. Great location — the ski slopes are just about 50 meters away. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!

This was an incredible disappointment only because of bad front desk staffing for what could have been a wonderful stay. The location is great, the restaurant food and Resteraunt and cleaning staff are terrific and the hotel could have been very nice but please choose any other hotel. ||||Val Thorens itself and the other hotels and people and atmosphere is amazing. We all know sometimes you confront someone who is dealing with tourists all day who’s having a bad day. Perfectly normal and acceptable. That isn’t the situation at 3 Vallees. The two men working the front desk at 3 Valles are incredibly unfriendly and always make you wish you hadn’t come. Alex and Sebastian who man the front desk are rude at best. It leaves you with a bad feeling every time you have to deal with them. ||||Normally the other issues wouldn’t matter but after you deal with unfriendly front desk, there are other problems that you normally would let slide. ||||The rooms are much smaller than pictured, the spa is tiny with a broken steam room and only 5 people allowed every 45 minutes by reservation with a tiny jacuzzi that would fit 3. ||||They also don’t tell you until you are checking out that the day the Restraunt is closed - Wednesday- if you have breakfast it’s +100 for breakfast each even though you paid for all meals for your stay. ||||They also don’t tell you If you use the humidifier that comes with the room, it’s an extra charge. ||||And my partner who never complains wants you to know coffee is undrinkable and an extra charge. ||||We could go on but just rent any other room in Val Thorens. The skiing and all of the facilities are top notch and worth every penny and if 3 Vallees ever hired a new front desk staff - it would be a fine stay.

A huge thank you to Sébastien for his outstanding service. He was incredibly helpful, patient, and attentive, assisting us with every little detail and making sure everything was perfect throughout our stay. Truly exceptional hospitality!

A small, sweet hotel, rooms decorated in rustic style, warm and welcoming. The staff are helpful and friendly. A good breakfast is offered with many choices. The evening meals menu is varied with options. The restaurant itself is well appointed.||The bedrooms are clean and warm with comfortable beds and soft pillows and a television. The bar area is small and there are games available to play.||Skis are stored in the basement in individual lockers and the boot room is on the ground floor to give you dry and warm boots each morning. Fully recommended.

A fantastic hotel. Not quite ski in/ski out during our stay but with more snow earlier in the season I'm sure it would be. The location is great and next to a supermarket and ski rental. The central village is a few minutes walk away. All the staff are great. A special thanks to Sebastian who is an outstanding personality and such a pleasant and helpful individual. The breakfast and evening dinner was of a very high standard. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The bar area has excellent views of the slopes. We will be looking to stay again next year. Highly recommended.

The hotel is very nice, comfortable, situated in the Centre of Val Thorens and near the ski slopes. The only observation we had was that the room temperature was a bit on the colder side than expected. ||The food in the restaurant was of a good variety, delicious and high quality. The staff were very professional, especially Yvon who was always eager to please the guests in order for them to feel well and comfortable. Thank you so much.

We stayed in the residence - as opposed to the main hotel- but the room was exactly what we wanted. Clean, tidy, great storage and space with a nice living area and mini kitchen. The staff were excellent and reception, breakfast was superb, and the extra facilities (boot room, ski locker) was very helpful too. Highly recommended.
