Brilliant hotel lovely communal sitting area and a superb spot for accessing the slopes. Couldn't really get any better. Great food and facilities are like pool, sauna, etc Very friendly and helpful staff with good English. Highly recommended.

We are a family of 7 and stayed 4 days. ||We had an amazing time! ||The hotel has perfect location the real ski in/out. ||The staff were extremely helpful and friendly!! Everywhere- reception, restaurant, ski shop…you name it. ||Breakfast is rich and tasty- perfect. ||

I feel quite compelled to leave a review after reading some negative reviews before flying out. We stayed four nights here, slept like a baby every night. The hotel is expensive, yes - but skiing is expensive! We had a wonderful view of the mountain from our room. The rooms are dated and could do with refurbishment, but to be honest if you’re out skiing all day it’s not a big deal. The lobby is beautiful with a rustic and Christmas feel. Bed was comfortable and room cleaned daily. Ski locker included. The pool is nice and sauna very good. Location is 10/10; ski in/out and located right in the middle of the 3 Valleys. Can ski down to main Meribel in 10 minutes or a free shuttle runs until midnight. The staff are lovely and attentive. Enjoyed breakfast each morning with a large spread of pastries, bread and savoury options. Thanks so much Mont Vallon!

I’ve recently stayed at this hotel for a week and had a wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and well equipped with all the necessary amenities. The location was perfect, close to main lifts and slopes. The food at the restaurant was delicious, featuring local specialties that perfectly complemented the alpine atmosphere. Whether you’re looking for adventure or relaxation, this hotel is an ideal choice. I can’t wait to return!

We opted for a standard room with a Mountain View, thinking that we would be skiing most of the day. |However, the room we were allocated was nothing like the image on their website. The room was really worn, tiles cracked in the bathroom, mould growing in the corners of the bath, the bath was badly chipped, the middle draw of the dresser was missing, leaving a hole. But worst of all, the window was tiny and on one side of the wall, making the room incredibly dark. You could see the mountain if you looked at an angle. |We did complain after the first day. The fact our room hadn’t been made up until after we arrived back at 4pm was the last straw. We were told by the lady behind reception that the tags you put on the door asking for it to be made up mean nothing and you should phone reception if you want your room made up earlier in the day. She also explained that she may have been able to do something if we had told her before 10am. They really know how to make their guests feel welcome!|We were upgraded on the last night to the superior room with Mountain View. It was like a completely different hotel. |Unless you do book one of the premium rooms, you will have a 2 star experience. Even the mattresses in the standard rooms are smaller and cheap (very bouncy).|Such a shame as the hotel is really well located. |I have given the hotel 2 stars, which is reflective of the guest experience.

We were quite disappointed in our 4 night stay. We had paid more to stay here to have a mountain view room - but were told when arrived that “mountain view” here means “basic” room, which is very misleading. Staff were great accommodating this and after first night did change our room to one that could see mountains for the other 3 nights. However, that new room had a broken heater that came on/off randomly to 25 degrees so we weren’t able to sleep our second night. Staff sent someone to fix it, but it wasn’t fixed and they sent technician again who finally did get it fixed for our last 2 nights. Don’t get half board. We had very uncooked chicken at the restaurant. Staff didn’t address it and the unsafe food concerns forced us to eat at other restaurants despite having prepaid for this one for last two nights. We are patient and understanding people but these concerns (and others) were all raised with staff, who assured us they would contact us to arrange compensation to address the lost night and refund for meals. It’s been a week and they haven’t reached out or responded to our several attempts to resolve. Summary: Location is great, but you will definitely enjoy your vacation much more at one of the many other options.

Wonderful feel when you walk into reception. Friendly and professional staff. Our room was slopeside, comfortable, very clean and fabulous view. The bar has a great atmosphere and makes excellent cocktails. Extensive buffet breakfast. We will return.

Very Disappointed (From a couple who like heaping praise and avoid bothering with complaints, this hotel really almost ruined a wonderful vacation. We feel, especially how the hotel dealt with us after, that others should be aware). We stayed here in winter for skiing and location is great. For the money though, DEFINITELY choose a different hotel. If you do stay here, DO NOT get the dinner included option. And, good luck if you have an issue with your room (we lucked out and had multiple issues). If you have issues, the hotel will gaslight you promising to make it right like with us... then refuse, ghost you (knowing you have limited options if you're visiting from far away in busy season), and post lying replies to reviews trying to show they are engaged and care (in our case, while ghosting us! lol). We had serious issues with the rooms - made worse by hotel management. First off "Mountainside"/"Mountain View" does not mean you see the mountain or have a view... it means the opposite somehow... go figure. We also had malfunctioning heater that took several of the days to address and made sleeping impossible (in max heat that could not be turned off) the first 3 of our nights. I'm sure the hotel reply here will be something like "Mountain room to us means something different, you should be more careful/diligent". Well, we're telling you to be diligent because they want you to think you're getting a room with a view and if you don't do a deep dive, you'll get swindled like us. DON'T EAT AT THE HOTEL RESTAURANTS it's not worth the "deal" for the pre-paid dinner option. Breakfast was good - simple and nice. The gourmet restaurant for dinner was (at best) fancy looking and bland tasting. Fish was fishy (from a person who loves fish). A couple things were super bitter (not just "as an intentional flavour thing" - and not just us afterwards lol). Good luck if you want a vegetarian option btw. Food safety and staff concern - dreadful. I'm sure (again) Christophe from the hotel will reply saying "level of meat preparedness is pink or pearlescent, and chef is available to you..." blah blah oookay. We had our last try there when chicken came out raw (not some specific way for a reason... raw and improperly cooked) and staff couldn't have cared less. The server we returned the dish to didn't offer a replacement plate or even apologize, noone addressed it. We paid our bill (full pop) and went to eat somewhere else. The hotel may also mention "you had an option to dine in our other restaurant" - no we didn't... we were told specifically the dining was not transferable. By the way, the food in Meribel is amazing and there are many great restaurants. Trust us - don't eat lunch or dinner at Mont Vallon's two restaurants. Other options are plentiful, accessible, excellent, and the service is wonderful. As a last note, the hotel really tried to play games with management having offered to refund some of our money and promised to be in touch to do so, then ghosted us intentionally. We tried emailing, calling, etc to discuss and they didn't reply to anything. The only replies were from manager Christophe who posted replies to our review with lies and nonsense. Book somewhere else. If you do stay here, eat somewhere else. This hotel is in a great location, but it is in terrible hands. It just seems from the management downwards that a lack of professionalism, care, and quality impacts what could be a great place to stay. We are of course returning to beautiful Trois Vallees, but we are (and recommend you too should) steer clear of this hotel.

Rooms were fine, help was very friendly, truly ski in ski out, including ski rentals within 50'. Nice bar and lobby area. Negatives would not be hard to fix but need mentioning: fitness center is terrible, equipment looks like bought one of each different type of machine used on ebay. Even weights were crazy with like five dumbells, not even in pairs with matched weights. Shower in fitness center unisex with no place to change except a swing-door tiny dressing room. Wifi was some antiquated system. Also be careful with 'twin' beds and the first room provided was a 'junior twin', by memory something like 27" wide like a tiny cot versus normal twin width of 39". To emphasize, very nice people there, and just suggest the owners invest the not huge amount of money to fix the issues and deserve five stars.
