Hotel 9

I stayed for 2 nights, on the beginning of my holiday and on the last night. The location is perfect, just opposite the Zagreb bus station with tram lines running nearby. Hotel is very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great with many options. However, in Oct though it was a bit warm at night, the air-conditioned was changed to heating and centralized. We had to open the windows and it was noisy facing the road. Staff was friendly and offered a fan but we didn't take it and later at the room had cooled. Overall, we enjoyed our short stay.

For us ist was the perfect LOCATION, nervt total the bus station. I could see that the Tram was next to the hotel. The Staff is really welcoming and friendly. They have staff at the reception 24/7. And last but not least the hotel has a really nice decor

The room was nice, bright and spacious , but no desk to work at.|The staff were very friendly and helpful. |There’s no restaurant in the hotel so if you arrive late and want to eat, you have to go out. You can also get a pizza slice or similar from a bakery very close by.|The breakfast was very nice with an okay choice.

Perhaps because it is so highly rated my expectations were too high but this was an okay stay and I was glad it was only for 1 night. The hotel is exactly conveniently located a short walk from the bus station and the tram right next to it, which was the best part of this hotel. The room itself seemed so heavily scented with something, like if it was covering up another scent/odour. The bed cover was stained along with the bench at the edge of the bed and generally not well maintained (chipped mirror decor, paint scraped off on several areas). Not particularly friendly, almost hostile service at the front desk after check in, baffling based on some other reviews. The breakfast was okay...most of the prepared items seemed like they were sitting there a while (e.g. cold fried eggs) but being able to request a fresh omelette was a positive and the woman serving was very nice. All in all, it was a large room, convenient location but that's about it. Not a 4 star in my opinion if you care for a well maintained room, cleanliness, working AC and friendly staff but overall a serviceable stay.

Location is great as close to the bus station which enables one to rest once arriving by land and enjoyed that i only need to leave 15 minutes before the departure the following day. Check in was the fastest I have ever experienced and overall was good and nothing to fault.

Very convenient and accessible, as it is only 3 minutes across the Zagreb bus station. The tram stop for # 6 Tram that goes to the historical centers, Uptown and Downtown is across the hotel.

Pleasant stay, sufficient breakfast with variety of choices, clean rooms with prompt housekeeping, next to Zagreb bus station and tram stop going to historic center.

The room was a big size but there were so many things horrible with this hotel. The towel was torn, the sink in our bathroom was blocked, there was no toilet paper in the room and the tea and coffee caddy had so much dust on it that one didn’t want to use it. The white sofa too was almost torn ( I forgot to take a pic). The location across the bus stop made no difference to us in fact the tram right outside was a nuisance with the noise. And the building next door has grafitti on it. The AC also wasn’t working. The only grace was that it was a super cold night so luckily we didn’t need it. We checked in late evening around 9 or else would have definitely not stayed in this hotel. There was one thing, however, very good with the hotel and that was the night staff. They were super helpful and sweet. Both the gentlemen helped us with getting some food, adapter etc. The lady in the morning at checkout was super unhelpful. Didn’t help with giving us any change, didn’t help at all when we asked if there was any coffee shops close by - just said that it was Sunday and most things would be shut. Even when I told her about all the things wrong with the room she just said “ sorry”!!
