Hôtel 96

We were so lucky to find out about this absolute gem of a hotel. ||As many other people have said it is a perfect oasis in what is a busy city. ||We stayed for 4 nights using it as a base to explore the Calanques to the east of Marseille and it was wonderful to be able to return to the peace and tranquility each evening. ||The breakfast is fabulous and we also took advantage of the evening menu that they provide - simple but very well done and lots of local produce used. ||Staff are amazing and incredibly helpful with local advice. We also loved the multi generational family feel that the team give and also the really high levels of eco measures that they have in place. ||We are already planning our return visit!!

If all 3 stars hotels would be like Hotel96 I would be very happy! Great value for money. So nicely made, great Atmosphere, beautiful spacey rooms and garten and well disconnected from the crowded city, but easy to reach with bus or car. We didn’t booked the breakfast, but it looks ok too. I enjoyed it very much and for sure will be back soon.

Save and idyllic family hotel in the South of Marseille. Amazing and courteous staff and owners. A green park-like tranquil hotel area with swimmingpool. Beautifully designed signature rooms with personal elements. They have the label la clef verte. Gorgeous partly homemade breakfast with homemade glutenfree and dairyfree cakes! Dinner options available. We loved our stay and would recommend it to absolutely anyone! Merci Hotel 96 🤩

I had the pleasure of staying here with my daughter for a few weeks. Glorious little hideaway, close to the Calanques and beaches of Marseille. Attentive staff, beautiful grounds, a lovely, quiet pool and a great breakfast in the mornings. The room was perfectly appointed, comfortable beds, powerful A/C to keep us cool during the heatwave, and a great walk-in shower. The room could’ve used a few more hooks to hang towels and wet bathing suits but other than that tiny detail, it was perfect in every way. |Officially our go-to spot if ever we’re lucky enough to return to Marseille.

My stay at Hôtel 96 was magical! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I only speak like 2 words of French (and badly) and they were able to answer my questions and provide recommendations and support. Amazing staff! I stayed for 3 nights in a deluxe double room. I enjoyed the fresh breakfast twice & dinner twice as well. All of the food was delicious! The room was clean, had drinks and snacks available for purchase, a comfortable bed, and a nice outdoor space. If you are focused on spending a lot of time in Marseille downtown this is not an ideal location, but it was perfect for my stay! I was able to go to La Calanques through a 10m walk (narrow & steep streets if you have mobility concerns) and then a 20m bus ride (can tap your credit card on board, no ticket needed!). I definitely recommend going as early as you can and to check if a permit is needed for the park on the day you are visiting. The pool is sooo nice and beautiful with fragrant flowers surrounding it and plenty of sun shades. Amazing stay and I hope to come back!

This is a delightful, quiet, and charming hotel on the outskirts of Marseille. The breakfasts are delicious and a great value. I loved the gardens. Taking transit from downtown to this hotel isn't difficult. I wish it could be a little closer to Marseille, but then it wouldn't be so quiet and pretty. Short bus ride to the nearby Calanques as well.

Quiet location with lovely garden and secure parking. Friendly staff. Tasteful well equipped room. Super breakfast. A haven from bustling Marseille.|Good bus service nearby to head into the city and the Calanques nature reserve is on your doorstep.

A beautiful place, very peaceful since outside city center. Easy access to beach and calanques, about 30 min to city center. The suite was large and beautiful, the grounds and pool lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was small but good quality. Highly recommended!
