Idyllic hotel with excellent location and staff. I enjoyed our stay, but unfortunately I could not give more than three starts. The hotel needs upgrading. Firstly, there was no air conditioning in the rooms, which is why the room got uncomfortably hot in the summer. The fridge in the room wasn't working, and there was only one outlet in the room to charge our phones. There was also a weird smell in the bathroom. Additionally, the breakfast wasn't worth the money, and there were ants running on the breakfast table.

We really liked the feel and comfort of this quaint, medieval French hotel. It had a perfect location. Rooms were clean and comfortable. We purchased breakfast for Euro 14 per person (very good). Staff was attentive and helpful. Good value!

Fantastic hotel, especially for the price! The bed and pillows were super comfortable. The room and bathroom were very clean. My only complaint is the room was a bit hot for me, and I could not find a way to turn the heat down

We stayed 1 night in a suite in the annex just across from the hotel, whilst touring the wine route. Bed was big and comfortable. Big bathroom too. Room was warm but a decent fan was provided. No aircon. Breakfast was in the main hotel in the very charming indoor courtyard. We parked in their secure carpark a couple of minutes walk outside the town wall. Location was perfect. We were visiting at a time when many restaurants were closed due to holidays, so we wished we’d accepted the offer from the hotel to book dinner as everywhere was full. The team at the hotel are very welcoming and friendly. English spoken.

The present owners took over just before Corona virus lockdown and doing everything possible to make a success of their venture.||||We stayed at five hotels during our short break in Alsace and probably enjoyed this the most. Tucked away in a narrow alleyway in the centre of this charming little town, we could not fault this place for value. ||||The room was not huge but adequate when you consider the age of the building and its town centre location. Car parking is bookable at a reasonable price in a secured open air site just a short walk away.||||Co-owner Marine is delightful and made us feel very welcome. We recommend this place unreservedly.

Stayed three nights on a trip to Alsace. Central location in one of the most scenic towns, an easy stroll to restaurants and local points of interest. Helpful and friendly staff. Rooms are traditional which is to say smallish, old furniture and bathrooms, and not the most comfortable bed - however more than adequate for our stay. Excellent breakfast, and reasonable rates for the location lift this hotel from 3 to 4 star.
