Hotel a restaurant Octárna

Very beautifully place I booked the room for single so May be my room was not good enough and I will give one star less. Breakfast is okay okay not very impressive They have good air condition system and very nice staff

Impressive presentation and generous portions. A bit noisy inside.

The hotel is located very close to the town and has an entrance for the car where you can park in two different spots. The service is quite good and the room also is very tidy and you can feel it has some history in it. The receptionist also was very kind and smiling. The restaurant was ok, i would say nothing special but i didnt have choice as i arrived late in the evening and could only eat here. Overall quiet place and pretty relaxing

The hotel is beautiful. The rooms are big, comfortable and clean. The food of the restaurant is great. The only issue for me was that blonde waitress wearing glasses and tattoos in the restaurant should improve her attitude and manners, very unpolite and disrespectful with foreign people.

Hotel Octarna|A cosy and quiet place with a good location (just a few minute walk to the town square) and a private parking. The place must look really nice in summer.|The room was just fine with a well-stocked mini-bar. Friendly staff. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for a previously-booked event but we managed to have a welcome drink (a glass of pretty nice Bohemian sparkling wine). We had to have dinner somewhere else ( well recommended by the receptionist). Breakfast – although it was simple, we didn`t leave the hotel with empty stomachs.|We spent only one night at Octarna as we were on our way to Austria but it was definitely worth spending our time in that pretty little town.|

Not enough parking. Check in went fine. The receptionist was friendly and spoke English well. The room was clean and comfortable, albeit a bit on the warm side (No A/C). The bathroom was new and modern, in contrast to the rooms, which have an old-style feel. The tv only has 2 English channels, CNBC and RT. The bed was comfortable. The hotel itself was quiet. Breakfast in the morning was good, but we were the only ones there, and with no music playing, the room was way too quiet, like a library.The hotel's location is superb, off the main road, just a 3 minute walk from the main square. Check out was comfortable and quick. I would certainly stay at the Octarna again.

An old house with a lovely inner courtyard. The surrounding, well kept, little gardens gave it a peaceful ambiance. Room was exactly what was to be expected. We ate in the restaurant one evening and the food was excellent. Staff were efficient and very friendly. A walk of 5 minutes to the city centre. We would stay again. Appreciated especially that we were told on booking that there would be a wedding reception taking place on one day of our stay - a very nice gesture (we were in no way inconvenienced).

Nice hotel, well placed. Room was clean and warm. Excellent restaurant, fair prices. Service was good and quick enough. As usual excellent Czech beer! I will return, that's sure!

Very pleasant hotel and restaurant located in a former monastery. Friendly staff at both the front desk and in the restaurant. The well-sized rooms have a desk, Internet access, TV and a modern bathroom. On-site free parking is within the gates and locked at night, and the old town is 5 walking minutes away. The restaurant has a very good selection of steaks, and a multi-language menu. Private dining rooms are available for smaller groups (up to 6). Good choice for anyone visiting Kromeriz.
