Hotel Aarnhoog

Our room in this newly renovated property, spanned over two levels. A huge downstairs bathroom was beautifully fitted out with large bath and shower and separate toilet. The upstairs room, at ground level was a combined bedroom sitting room with a bar fridge with coffee/tea making facilities. A private door from a downstairs corridor next to the bathroom led to a luxurious tiled, large indoor heated swimming pool, sauna, steam room etc.more akin to a Turkish bathhouse. The breakfast buffet, in the nearby main house was excellent and available until 1pm. Unfortunately there was no in-house evening meal. This necessitated driving around in the evening to various restaurants. A sister hotel restaurant, Fahrhaus Sylt in Munkmarsch was 5 kms away. The hotel is extremely quiet and the staff could not be more helpful and friendly. The suburb Keitum however is probably the prettiest suburb in Sylt to be in. The main commercial centre Westerland (high rise appartments, difficult parking, fast food outlets etc,) would not be our choice for accomodation.

One of the best hotels we have stayed at! Rooms are beautiful, setting in the village perfect, staff is great and the breakfast buffet is the best! Our dog is also always very welcome and spoiled by the staff. Hope we can go back soon!!!!!

We had a wonderful time in this hotel and extended our stay for one night due to the nice atmosphere. Wonderful breakfast, spacious apartments and excellent service. The location in Keitum is also great and we just loved this little town.

Warm welcome in a boutique type hotel with extended breakfast times until 1300 - allowed us to go for a run, enjoy a refreshing morning dip in the North Sea in Kampen and still have a relaxed breakfast with all local specialties and a smile from the staff.

After several visits, we vote for Keitum as the most beautiful village on the island and Aarnhoog is within walking distance of many wonderful restaurants. The inn is superb with exceptional rooms, a gorgeous indoor pool, and superb staff.

I stayed there with my wife and family in law in August 2009 and I have to say, it was a lovely stay and I enjoyed the hotel and the Island too.||I recommend it to anyone to stay in this hotel if going to Sylt.

Little cute 5-star hotel with a personal touch

Wir hatten einen überaus freundlichen Empfang, ein grosses, sauberes und modernes Zimmer. Das Frühstück war hervorragend, mit wiederum sehr freundlicher Bedienung. Wir haben es sehr geschätzt, dass die Getränke in der Minibar im Preis inbegriffen waren und vorwiegend den Fahrdienst, herzlichen Dank dafür. Das Hotel können wir allen Sylt-Reisenden, welche eine persönliche und herzliche Unterkunft schätzen empfehlen.
