I stayed one night at Hotel Abades Nevada Palace and had a mixed experience. It’s a large hotel with extensive facilities, including restaurants, a café, swimming pool, spa, gym, convention center, and parking — which is impressive at first glance.||The reception and central area feel modern and well-maintained. However, once you access the hallways and rooms, it becomes clear that the hotel is old (and during my stay, it was undergoing renovations). It’s worth noting that the hotel is far from Granada’s city center — an Uber ride cost about 20 euros — but on the positive side, there’s a supermarket right next to the hotel.||What bothered me the most was the condition of my room door: the wood was damaged, giving the impression that it had been previously forced open, which made me feel unsafe, especially since I was staying alone.||The room, though spacious, had old furniture (bed, desk, and armchair) and a stale, closed smell, lacking a sense of freshness. The bathroom is well-equipped, though also outdated; a nice touch was the toilet with a Japanese-style cleaning system, which was an interesting plus.||Overall, the hotel offers good infrastructure, but the rooms need renovation to match the quality of its common areas.
