Hotel Achilleas

This hotel is located in a great spot! Lots of restaurants very nearby. We had about a 7 minute walk to the National Garden. Approximately 20 min to the Acropolis. We walked to pretty much everything from the hotel. It is very central if you are a tourist. The rooms were comfortable and clean. I am a side sleeper and felt the bed comfortable. There is ample storage and we had a balcony off of our room. Bathroom is good other than lighting. They have lights hanging in front of the mirror. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They held our luggage for us when we arrived before the time that our room would be ready. Their front door is recessed from the street so just really pay attention to your map.

We only stayed here for 1 night coming into Athens and then again before leaving Athens so total of 2 nights at different times. I left my medication on the first night at the hotel which was in the fridge and needed to be refrigerated. Our travel agent assistance called the hotel once we realised and they kept it safe for me in the fridge until I came back a week later! ||The rooms are basic and simple but clean and beds are so comfortable. The location is great and easy access to the neighbouring restaurants and amenities. Also not too far from tourist attractions. ||Will highly recommend a stay here!

The beds were comfortable, if you like firm mattresses. Rooms are updated with modern light fixtures and furniture. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast spread had many options to choose from with plenty of fruits and toppings. Kudos to the breakfast staff who kept refilling the foods/drinks, clearing the plates and keeping the tables clean and orderly.|The breakfast seating is a narrow corridor space, but it was never too crowded and had ample space. Understand you are in Athens, a congested city, so most hotels will have limited space. ||We were on the third floor and did hear music from the bar down the street until 2am during Sat night only. If you want a more quiet room, make sure to request for a higher level floor.||Achilleas Hotel is a very convenient location and many good eateries and cafes downstairs. Shopping is around the corner on Ermou street and easy walk to Plaka and Monastiraki.

Great place to stay in Athens. Central location, comfortable rooms, friendly staff. Quiet location a great place to stay after spending the day exploring Athens. Breakfast was great, broad selection of food. Highly recommend place to stay in Athens.

The worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Horrible dirty bathroom, room was advertised with a balcony - mine had a huge dome of a skylight in it & staff were very unhelpful. When we checked out, the rude woman on reception told us she couldn’t get us a taxi as they were all full - we went outside and there were 3 driving down the road. Also, the fire door near my room was propped open with a fire hydrant. Seriously, don’t waste your money - absolutely disgraceful

On arrival we were greeted by a very friendly receptionist, in fact all the reception staff were friendly and helpful - they never failed to greet you as you walked past their desk.|The rooms were a very good size but could have done with a mirror in the main room, as there was only a mirror in the bathroom. A kettle/hospitality tray would have been a nice touch too.|Unfortunately as mentioned in many other reviews the breakfast was somewhat lacking.|The hotel arranged our transfer from the airport and back again and this was absolutely faultless.|The hotel was in a very good location being walking distance to many areas.|I would recommend this hotel.

A hotel that it’s located in a perfect place. First and foremost, its so convenient for someone that hasn’t been in Athens and it’s for first time. Secondly, the place is renovated, and the rooms are clean. What is more important for me, If you ask me..it was the service and how clean the room was. There was also one cleaner I don’t remember her name, but she was really helpful and kind. You can also ask them to make your coffee in the morning and bring it to your room if you want. Overall, I am so delightful that I stayed here for four nights . One last thing I have to say that the breakfast didn’t include variety of food, but it was decent. I’m saying this for someone that is looking for a rich breakfast for the morning . With love Room 105

we got free upgrade ! a young guy offered us tooth brush n toothpaste for the first night! hotel help us to receive delay luggage from airline they also help us to keep luggage after we checked out ! they help us to order taxi to cruise terminal! also the lady taxi driver so helpful and honest!
