Hotel Achilleas

We stayed here for 3 nights. What lovely people, there to greet you. Offer you suggestions of what to do. Very helpful. George and Maria were so kind and funny. I was travelling on my own and George gave me confidence that I was ok. The staff were all friendly. Our breakfast was fabulous. The rooms were lovely and all you need them for is to sleep because let’s face it you should be exploring during the day. It is so central to everything, changing of the guard, the Plaka, the flea market, restaurants and of course that wonderful Acropolus. You can see that lit up at night with the many rooftop bars. |Only thing I will say, I missed having a kettle in my room. Just some facilities to make yourself a tea or coffee. ☕️ |But that is the only minus.

This hotel is located in a great spot! Lots of restaurants very nearby. We had about a 7 minute walk to the National Garden. Approximately 20 min to the Acropolis. We walked to pretty much everything from the hotel. It is very central if you are a tourist. The rooms were comfortable and clean. I am a side sleeper and felt the bed comfortable. There is ample storage and we had a balcony off of our room. Bathroom is good other than lighting. They have lights hanging in front of the mirror. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They held our luggage for us when we arrived before the time that our room would be ready. Their front door is recessed from the street so just really pay attention to your map.

We stayed at the Hotel Achilleas for one night before we went on a cruise. Hotel is very efficient; it has everything you could need. The room we had was spacious, clean and the AC was fantastic during the time we were there.|Staff is helpful in suggesting restaurants, calling cabs, etc. They were even able to accommodate an earlier check in after a red eye flight.|This is not a luxury hotel and that is fine. Its centrally located and you will get a good nights rest and after a tough flight, that is perfect.

We enjoyed our stay here!. Very friendly staff. We felt welcomed. Rooms are clean. Quiet at night. We had a restful sleep. Close to a lot of attractions.

We only stayed here for 1 night coming into Athens and then again before leaving Athens so total of 2 nights at different times. I left my medication on the first night at the hotel which was in the fridge and needed to be refrigerated. Our travel agent assistance called the hotel once we realised and they kept it safe for me in the fridge until I came back a week later! ||The rooms are basic and simple but clean and beds are so comfortable. The location is great and easy access to the neighbouring restaurants and amenities. Also not too far from tourist attractions. ||Will highly recommend a stay here!

The beds were comfortable, if you like firm mattresses. Rooms are updated with modern light fixtures and furniture. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast spread had many options to choose from with plenty of fruits and toppings. Kudos to the breakfast staff who kept refilling the foods/drinks, clearing the plates and keeping the tables clean and orderly.|The breakfast seating is a narrow corridor space, but it was never too crowded and had ample space. Understand you are in Athens, a congested city, so most hotels will have limited space. ||We were on the third floor and did hear music from the bar down the street until 2am during Sat night only. If you want a more quiet room, make sure to request for a higher level floor.||Achilleas Hotel is a very convenient location and many good eateries and cafes downstairs. Shopping is around the corner on Ermou street and easy walk to Plaka and Monastiraki.

The room was comfortable. Reception staff were excellent. Breakfast was very good. Lifts are too small. Location is less desirable.

This hotel was spacious, clean, and near everything. George was so helpful, kind, and communicative! He helped us set up taxis, understand local customs, and stored our bags. Thank you so much Achiles and George!
