Hotel Acosta

May not be the best hotel in town but rooms are clean, hot shower, good AC in the room, good bed and basic breakfast. For the location.. do not worry about it. Everything is close in Iquitos, and motobike taxis are very cheap. For business, it is a very dissent location.

This is a nice little hotel conveniently located close to the Playa de Armas which is same as downtown Iquitos. |The hotel is impeccably clean, the staff are very courteous and go out of their way to make you comfortable in-spite of the language barrier. The breakfast is very nice. |The riverfront is within walking distance and a supermarket nearby if you need to buy something like water etc |Overall very satisfied with my stay|

The room was okay, BUT are super noisy from the aircondition and the road. Should have been isolated much better and the aircondition should not make such high of a noise. Woke up in the middle of the night several times - and i’m not sensitive about noises while sleeping. NOT worth the price.

Very clean place, no thrills, but everything works, including the A/C in the room. I liked to have a safe in my room. Breakfast is healthy and abundant, service is superb, Safe and with good advise from the staff about getting around the city. Location is almost good, close to the main plaza but not too close.

This hotel is very modern looking. Our room was beautiful. Very clean washroom and beautiful overlooking balcony. Unfortunately it was very loud due to street cars. Perhaps we should have requested a room change but it didn't affect our overall experience too much. Breakfast was very accommodating with fresh fruits and smoothies. The staff even went out of their way to make us eggs. AC was very refreshing and nice. Location is about a 8 minute walk from plaza de armas.

Its a small corner place but main plaza is barely 2-3 minutes walking distance. Check with them regarding free shuttle service to airport. I took it in the morning. Friendly staff though only 1-2 can speak English. Breakfast is rather good. Rooms are spacious, clean, hot water, working AC. Very good value for the price paid. No frills place

We spent 3 nights in total in this hotel.Staff was very helpful, rooms quiet and clean. We had to leave one of our bags for 5 days, as we had booked a trip into the jungle and they were happy to help and store our stuff. Buffet breakfast was very good and waiters always ready to help. All rooms are equipped with air-condition!!|| For the price I'd say it was the best hotel and would definitely go back there, when I have another opportunity to come to Iquitos.

A perfectly adequate hotel on a very noisy street in Iquitos. Maybe 10 minute walk through the Plaza des Armas to the river (and museums/some nice cafes). being able to speak Spanish a bit will help as English was not strong. The beds are comfortable, the rooms clean and the breakfast reasonably generous. Did the job as a jumping off place for an Amazon cruise.
