Today we enjoyed delicious food and wine with gorgeous views, but the shining star was the very kind welcoming and professional front worker by the name of Yessim. We will definitely come back and we highly recommend this place!!

We stayed two nights in this beautiful hotel. The rooms are spacious with quality mattress and bathroom.
The breakfast is absolutely amazing too. Home made cakes, fruits, eggs, bread, cheeses, yoghurt you name it, it is there.
Parking is easy just across the bridge and I recommend booking some time in the Spa facilities. Beautifully constructed in the basement of the building. Great spot, will return!

Highly recommend this hotel.
The staff were wonderful and so very accommodating and the space was clean, bright and comfortable.
We came to Bard quite late and stopped off at the hotel for a drink. We were touring in our camper van but found the staff so helpful that we asked if they had rooms for us to stay. They sorted us (and our dog) a room at short notice, even provided dog food and a bottle of bubbles for us to enjoy on our lovely balcony.
Highly recommend.

The hotel is generally very comfortable and homey, built and decorated with care. Our room had a lovely little balcony and a nice view onto the river, mountains and the fort of bard. The staff is incredibly friendly. The breakfast is great, a good selection of things to eat with lots of local products. The spa is also definitely worth a visit, it's underground so the ambience is very cool, with rock walls. It has a jacuzzi, sauna, Turkish bath, lounge chairs.

Not more, not less than expected. Great breakfast, good service, good dinner menu, spacious rooms with natural light and good views, great spa area with sauna and Turkish bath. Quiet, home-y, comfortable, almost cozy hotel. We spent a great three nights there. At dinner, staff seemed a little uncoordinated and stressed. But atmosphere is generally very friendly and relaxed.

I have stumbled across this place when searching for an accommodation in Valle d’Aosta. I agree with the reviews about hotel’s design and its attention to details. Rooms are very nicely furnished and mine was spacious and very comfortable (room 105). The spa is small but offers a cozy atmosphere and a place to unwind at the end of the day. The restaurant is excellent and I would recommend anyone to have a dinner. The service was quick and very friendly, although a waiter had a bit overbearing attitude when he learned I was dining alone.||Downside: poorly indicated parking space that is just across the bridge on the other side of the river bank. A hotel offers a photo of a map that leaves you guessing instead of offering an address or GPS location.||The hotel and the restaurant are placed along the main regional road, a highway is just a stretch away, plus the main street going through the Bard village is open to the traffic. Hotel is well built and isolated but the traffic noise and the noise of tourists making their way to the Bard fortress are bound to wake you up in the morning. Also a major negative side in my room were the doors 🚪 they were not sound proofed and anytime someone walked outside my room felt like they were in the room.||My last remark concerns a receptionist who welcomed me when I have arrived. I inquired about activities and historic sites in the region and I couldn’t have received more lame answer. The person in question couldn’t even give me some basic information about visiting fortress and let me understood there’s nothing else to do in the area. Right there and then I have decided to stay only one night and finish my weekend in Torino instead of spending another day in the hotel.||

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at AD Gallias over the weekend while visiting Fort Bard. From the outside, the building is unassuming, resembling a quaint mountain chalet. Inside, the hotel is very well furnished, comfortable and spotless. The rooms provide a relaxing and tranquil environment to enjoy the beautiful view, fresh air and clear water. The beds are large and comfortable. The hotel is a few steps away from the entrance of Fort Bard through the medieval village path. The breakfast buffet offers a wide selection of warm and cold options. In addition to breakfast, we also ate lunch and dinner at the hotel. The food is excellent at the hotel restaurant. There is parking around the hotel on the street or covered parking at the Fort for 4E per day or 9E overnight.Very good value overall!

Our second visit, and even better than the first. The new Chef is a great find and our dinner was outstanding. The room was delightful and we of course love the spa. The only suggestion for a minor improvement is the turkish bath could do with a little work.
