Comfortable hotel in heart of valencia. Very helpful reception staff. Whilst rooms are basic, they are clean and have everything for a 2 night city break.

Perfect location. A taxi from the airport cost us €20. 3 minute walk to get to the main square (playa virgen) where there’s a couple of bars but if you carry on walking through it leads to lots more. The hotel is clean and pretty. Our room had an upstairs bedroom too but the stairs were a little risky and I wouldn’t have liked my son to be with us but for us they were fine. Rooms are perfectly suited for what you need and you get shower gel etc included in the bathroom. Reception is available 24h a day and they are very helpful. People have said the hotel is noisy…I didn’t find it a problem at all. Beds are comfy. Only downside is the air con doesn’t quite work to its fullest and struggles to cool the room down as it is a big room. It didn’t hinder our sleep too much though and we soon got over it, just would’ve been a little bit better if it worked 100%. |Definitely worth staying here though purely for the location and cleanliness of the hotel.

To start with, the Hotel staff was great. Very helpful, friendly and supportive. Thank you!!|Said that, even the best staffing and greatest location of a hotel is not able to|rock it if the hotel itself does not meet basic standards. |I clearly missed hygenic standards. |The Towels in the bathroom were so old and „done“ that it felt disgusting using them.|The shower was full of mold.|After 2 days of our stay the cleaning ladies tried to get rid of, with limited success. |Those things need to get done regularly! |The bed was shaking and moved with every single movement. |Never had such a low budget bed. |We tried to avoid moving during the night. |The comfort of the bed is personal taste, but clearly not met mine.||The hotel was extremely loud and we could hear each word of our neighbors. |They were not speaking loud, however the hotel walls are so thin. ||The entire hotel building is from the 15th century and the mentioned areas seems to meet the same decade, which is a petty, as if tge would invest some more love to detail on above areas + the nice staffing they already have, the hotel could easily a great place to be.||

Great little hotel in a prime location. Really can’t fault this place. The family room was spread over two floors with a bed, wardrobe and bathroom on one floor and then upstairs a bedroom, large balcony (very safe) , bathroom and large landing area with pull out bunk beds. The stairs are quite steep in the room. Reception were extremely helpful. We’d usually stay in a big 4 star hotel but the best locations are the little hotels in the old town. This is a great choice.

Great location. Not super Hotel so for the what we got it was too expensive. Some in the staff were service minded, some where not. The not so good thing is that there was no internet in the room so had to be in the reception when going on internet. And it’s a small reception..

A nice hotel, with 24hr reception. Nice twin bed room with air conditioning. I appreciate I'm British & to that end I would have liked a kettle & cuos, etc, in the room. Nice hot shower. They do not have a restaurant, however offer a % off down the road. An easy walk into the square which has a lively night pavement culture. I would stay here again.

Very good hotel! We stayed in the family room, with 2 floors. Is very clean and the beds are good. The location is absolutely superb. The street where the hotel is located is quiet and 2 streets further is the pleasant bustle. Very close to Plaza de Virgin and the other sightseeing of the old town. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Very satisfied and highly recommended.

Relatively cheap hotel in a great location. Very nice service. The reception is open 24/7. The room was cleaned every day. Free wifi. You can see that the rooms need refreshing. The price, however, is adequate to the quality. I recommend!

Yelp
Perfect location, perfect staff. Ad Hoc Carmen is ideally located in the center of the best part of the city, and a 5 minute walk from the Mercado Central. The hotel staff is friendly, accommodating, and extremely helpful. The rooms: Fairly self service but they're a unique departure from your standard hotel room and are beautifully acclimated to the environment. No fridge or ice or vending, but it would be a disservice to have these amenities as it would conflict with the aesthetic. There is AC and plenty of markets around the corner for your needs. The location: Ideal. Literally around the corner from Plaza de Virgen but you'd never know it as the hotel itself is quiet and discretely tucked away. Great walking city so location is a must and I felt consistently that Ad Hoc Carmen was an ideal starting and ending place for seeing the most of the city. Hundreds of great restaurants - Pappardella was a favorite. The staff: Friendly and super helpful. Personalized experiences where they help you to make the most out of your time in Valencia. Esther era mi favorita - tan linda y amable - gracias por ayudarme a hacer un video!
