Hotel Admiral Lugano

I had a genuinely positive stay here, and while nothing "special" stood out, the hotel excels at the fundamentals, which is why I'm giving it a strong 4 out of 5 stars. First off, the hotel is clean. Everything felt well-maintained and fresh, which is always the most important foundation for a good experience. What truly elevated my stay was the staff. They were incredibly nice, very attentive, and genuinely seemed to care about the guests. From check-in to check-out, the service was excellent friendly faces and helpful advice made all the difference. The location is also a huge plus for getting around. It’s generally close to transportation options, making it a straightforward process to navigate the area and get to all the local spots. My only reason for holding back that fifth star is that, well, there was nothing particularly special about the place. It's a wonderful, clean, well-run hotel with stellar staff, but it lacks that unique design element, memorable amenity, or 'wow' factor that makes a hotel truly exceptional and deserving of a perfect score.

Hi, We used room No. 610, all was fine and we have two remarks. 1. The tap in our room wasn't work correctly, it has to be maintain. 2. In the restaurant there is only 0ne coffee machine and it take sometime 15-20 min to get the coffee. I think that another machine will improve dramatically the customers expiriance.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Admiral in Lugano. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout my visit. The rooms were very clean and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. I was very satisfied and would definitely recommend this hotel.

I had the pleasure of staying in this hotel during the tourism exhibition. The hotel staff is very nice and professional. The location is ideal and walkable to Lake Lugano. 10 minutes walking has the main shopping area with all International brands. There is nearby grocery stores and restaurants as well. The accessible room was given which might be the only available that time but size was a bit smaller being a 4* hotel

We were given a very warm welcome by Francesca. She is an excellent asset for this hotel. She was very informative and interesting to talk to. The hotel pool was great. Thank youBreakfast was excellent. The best we have had in a hotel for a while. A wide range of food.

We booked a single room but it turned out that our room had a connecting door within the room and you could literally hear the guests next door. There was no privacy. It was really uncomfortable to sleep because these people were also very loud until late at night and in my opinion that simply isn't a single room. In my opinion that is cheeky and not an acceptance of privacy. Luckily we were only there for one night because otherwise we would have thrown our money out the window. The bathroom was also very dated. It wasn't clean. There was hair from the previous guests. The shower curtain was dirty and some things were broken. There were lots of small splashes on the wardrobe door. I can't understand how they couldn't just clean it. It was spread over the whole area and was clearly visible. The outside pool was only deep up to the basin - you couldn't really see that in the photos. The view is surrounded by high-rise buildings so it's not exactly pleasant and there weren't enough sun loungers either. The only positive thing was the breakfast buffet and the comfortable bed.

Very kind and helpful staff. Very clean property. The location is central and very convenient. We enjoyed the roof top sun beds as well as the very large indoor pool for swimming laps. Onsite parking is very convenient, and be sure to reserve in advance. Keep in mind the room size if you are traveling with a lot of luggage.

It was a perfect stay. The calm environment and awesome location, close to the lake, funicolare and train station. The staff was respectful, and the breakfast was amazing with plenty of choices. The rooftop swimming pool was nice but not deep. Many thanks :)
