Perfect hotel and location for our two night stay in Athens. Walking distance to all the restaurants and shops in Plaka and also to the central area/base of the acropolis. Highlight is the rooftop patio. Enjoy your breakfast and or a drink before dinner and soak in the view of the acropolis and an amazing sunset. Room as small but quaint perfect for two adults. We had three but for two nights it was manageable.

Hotel Adonis is a lovely little hotel in Plaka Athens. The staff are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. It is in walking distance of the main attractions and Metro and lots of lovely authentic restaurants. The hotels roof garden/bar is great and the view of Athens and the Acropolis is amazing.

The location of this hotel is perfect: very close to the city center and walking distance from the main highlights, while still being in a quiet part of town. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the breakfast is simple but sufficient, with an amazing view of the Acropolis. The room we stayed in was small, but contained everything we needed (good water pressure on the shower too). However, the rooms are not very well insulated when it comes to sounds, so if you are sensitive to noise, this might not be the right place to stay.

Located in a very nice part of the Plaka near restaurants and shopping but area not overly crowded. Fantastic roof deck with an amazing view of the Acropolis. Woman who serves breakfast is outstanding. People at the front desk extremely helpful. Nice room. Great value.

Great location!!! clean, well maintained rooms, comfortable beds. Basic hotel room on a quiet street just steps from great shopping, restaurants and everything else you need/want. When you go out the front door, make a left and then the first right. You will be in the middle of everything!! Great walking streets. Bring comfortable shoes. Lots of cobblestone sidewalks and uneven surfaces. Beautiful area.

The hotel was very clean with pleasant staff and nice rooms. It is located withing walking distance to just about everything we came to see. Food and shopping vendors are plentiful, and I found everything I needed easy to get to. I also believe their pricing is quite reasonable.

Great location in the Plaka! Spectacular view of the Acropolis from the rooftop bar/dining area. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Ample hot water and great water pressure. Staff was helpful and friendly. They gave us great dining reservations and other advice. I would definitely stay there again!

My son and I stayed at the Adonis Hotel for three nights during our recent vacation in Greece, and it was a wonderful experience! We were welcomed warmly by the owners and staff and the requisite room needs were all covered (hot showers, cold air conditioning to beat the Athens heat, etc.). Beyond this, however, were two important elements. The breakfast was lovely and served on the top floor of the building with a view of the Acropolis (a great way to start your travel day in Athens), and the location was absolutely perfect: on a quiet street, within walking distance of the most important sights in Athens, as well as numerous tavernas and bars. Once we took public transportation (the X95 bus) from the airport to within a 5-minute walk of the hotel, we walked everywhere during our Athens time--it was that central and easy! We highly recommend the Adonis Hotel for your next visit to Athens!
