Not the most salubrious of hotels, but the location, staff, attention, and service are superb. This was our third visit, and they were kind enough to give us the room we'd had before. Value for money 5/5. Would stay again in an instant. Perfect!

The room I had was a small double and it was perfectly adequate for my needs. The only thing I didn't like was the shower which was fixed to the wall and was 10cm shorter than me, meaning I had to duck. The staff were friendly, always greeting me as I entered which was great. The breakfast at the Plaza was OK, usual choice of cooked or continental. All told, I had a great stay.

Our stay at Hotel Adonis Capital was very disappointing. The room we were given felt like a staff room, possibly because we were only staying for one night. The window faced a ventilation shaft and the staff yard, where employees would come to smoke, causing the smell of cigarettes to fill the room in the evening and early morning. The room itself was dark, outdated, and poorly equipped. There was only one available socket, but since the lamp was plugged into it, we had to choose between having light or charging a phone. The only positive aspect was the bathroom, which was surprisingly spacious—possibly even bigger than the room itself. The only truly good thing about this hotel was its location. Other than that, I wouldn’t recommend it. There are definitely better options in the area.

I stayed at this hotel, and unfortunately, my experience was far from positive. The rooms looked nothing like the photos – outdated, poorly maintained, and definitely not what I expected. Although I had a verbal agreement with the reception to partially cancel my reservation, when the time came to enforce it, they suddenly denied everything that was said. The service was frustrating and unprofessional – instead of taking responsibility for their mistake, they kept passing me from one person to another, avoiding clear answers and showing complete disregard for the situation. To make things worse, because I didn’t read the fine print, I also ended up without parking for my car – something that should have been clearly mentioned upfront. A hotel that cannot be trusted, poor customer service, and a clear sense that they prioritize taking advantage of guests rather than providing a pleasant stay. If you’re looking for a hotel with integrity, fair service, and honest advertising – keep looking elsewhere.

After reading other reviews , we must of touched lucky .. We DID pay the extra couple of quid ( and it really was only a few £) for a room with a balcony... We got given the 8th floor ( top floor ) room 801 which was literally like a penthouse.. We had a wrap around view of santa cruz with fantastic views .. The room was big enough , big wardrobe/ changing area ... big enough bedroom and separate wc and bath-shower. The room was cleaned every day and the staff were lovely . The location really couldn't be better , right in the centre , great local bars , and REALLY cheap too.. €2 for a pint of Cruzcampo beer just across the plaza from the hotel ... €1 tapas too... you really can eat and drink for next to nothing. The ONLY issue we had was a bit of noise outside BUT it was the week before Carnival so they were getting everything ready , of course that's not the hotels fault. Would I come back ? Yes of course, but I'd definitely pay the extra couple of £ for the night for the better room . Thanks for a lovely stay. Ricky & Izzy

We stayed for one night. The room was ok, very basic, clean, and with a spacious bathroom. The hotel is well located in the city centre, and not far from the main bus station (about 15min walk). The room has a window to a internal patio area, which we liked it, as it provided it peace an quite environment away from the main shopping street area outside the hotel, the ceiling fan was very needed for us. The front desk staff was attentive, as well as the breakfast ones in the other hotel close by where was served, with good selection of continental and cooked breakfast. We think it is a very good value for money considering other hotels near by. You really get what you pay for here!

We were allocated room 804 which is on the top floor with the small window in the bedroom opening out onto the rear of a multitude of buildings. This can be a tad noisy and obviously there is no view to speak of but this wasn't an issue for 1 night. The room is exceptionally small with barely enough room to walk around the bed and subsequently only one bedside table which is annoying, no socket for charging electronics or a place to put a drink, book etc. In fact there is a distinct lack of available power points. There is a fridge which is a welcome addition and a fan as there is no air con which in a room this small would be a major issue in the summer months. The bed was very comfortable and the one pillow acceptable but two would have made for a better sleep. The bathroom is vast in comparison to the bedroom and has a powerful shower with toiletries provided.|Breakfast is at the sister hotel, Adonis Plaza approximately 50 metres across the plaza. We weren't expecting much based on previous reviews but were very pleasantly surprised. The lady who was very friendly greeted you at the door with a tray and cutlery and indicated where the various food items were. A good choice of cereals, bread, pastries, fruit, yogurts and several cooked items were available, as was arroz con leche, a welcome addition for us. The coffee, although from a machine was far better than some I've had in other hotels, I had 2 cortado and the juice was agreeable too.|All in all for a budget hotel it ticks the boxes, with it's central location a real bonus.

Avoid this hotel! It’s cramped and faces an internal well, not as advertised on the website. While it’s common to highlight the best features, it’s important to be transparent about less desirable room types. The room was also very dirty, and to make matters worse, a soiled towel was left on the sink when we arrived. The only good thing about this hotel is its location, otherwise it’s a horrible stay.
