Hotel Afendoulis

Perfect location on a mostly quiet side street a block from the sea. A very accommodating and helpful family. A nice balcony. A lovely breakfast. Very reasonable rate. In short, we can't imagine a more perfect and delightful place to stay on Kos and we are so glad we found it!

This is a picturesque family run hotel. It felt like I had stepped into a movie. You walk up and there is jasmine & other flowers wrapping around the terrace in front of the hotel- doors wide an welcoming into the hotel. This is not the fanciest of places, but it is really a gem. Thinking of the breakfast even now makes my mouth water- with this sumptuous selection of jams and jellies from various fruits grown in the family garden.

Beautiful family-owned hotel near Kos Centre but far away from the crowds. The rooms are modest but very clean, with a small balcony that was very convenient for the beach days. The best thing about it is the kindness of the staff and the delicious breakfast with homemade jams that was included in our room price.

This hotel is wonderful. The service that these guys provide is always above and beyond. The hotel is spotless and the home made jams with Greek yoghurt for breakfast is divine. Booking and checking out is always done with a personal touch. It really feels like a personal visit to a family and not a hotel👍🏻

What a good hotel. The room was comfortable and clean with good air conditioning. But what makes the hotel is the excellent and helpful personal service. We were helped with the Taxi transfer, finding a restaurant, sites to see, and given a free lift to our boat. Breakfast was also excellent with the choice of seven delicious home-made jams on lovely terrace with Bougainvillea. The hotel is great value as well.

Hotel Afendoulis is a lovely property in an excellent location and is an amazing value. The made to order homemade breakfasts are superb. Most importantly, the kind & welcoming family that owns & manages the hotel represent the best of Greek hospitality.

Perfect option - they were enormously helpful with communication before arrival & allowed me to leave my luggage when I passed back through Kos after visiting other islands. The hotel is super clean, comfortable beds, and close to the port/old town. The breakfast as others have referenced is top tier! Highly recommend especially if island hopping

Service is just delightful. Dimitri is such a kind and helpful person. The rooms are a bit old, but clean and well conserved, fair for the price. We came back to have breakfast after our trip and he gently accepted to save our luggage until our flights. Thank you so much!
