"A truly Grand Place in Brussels The Grand Place in Brussels is the magnificent main square in Brussels . The square is the main tourist attraction in Brussels and is surrounded by numerous cafes and shops. Most of the buildings were constructed in the late 17th century, although market activity in the square dates back to the 12th Century. It's a great place to hang out, grab a coffee or a liege waffle, and people watch."

We stayed at the Hotel Agora for 4 nights last week. The hotel is in a great location and walking distance to all of Brussels main attractions and a 3 minute walk to the central train station. The staff were all very friendly, welcoming, and helpful! The room cleaning services were also very good and the staff did a great job with the house keeping everyday, which was very much appreciated! However, the room itself left quite a bit to be desired. The two twin beds were pushed together but had separate bedding and kept sliding apart during the night, which was uncomfortable. The in-room amenities were minimal: the kettle was broken, and aside from a hair dryer, there were no additional comforts. There was only a single combined soap/shampoo dispenser—no conditioner, lotion, or other toiletries provided. Additionally, despite visiting in mid-October when the weather was cool, the room was uncomfortably hot and humid, with no clear way to regulate the temperature. If proximity to the city center is your top priority, Hotel Agora is a solid choice. However, you may have to compromise on comfort and typical hotel conveniences.

Hôtel Agora is situated in the perfect location! This place is situated only a 3 minute walk to Brussels Central - perfect for our early flight out of Brussels. It’s situated in a quaint square with a lot of restaurants and within walking distance from a lot of sites around Brussels. The reception was welcoming and friendly and even took our bags to our room for us. The hotel itself is amazing - it a building built in the 1600’s and still features original beams! I would stay here again next time I am in Brussels!

I ended up here last minute and luckily they had a cancellation. Great location, quiet but near everything. My room was spacious and clean. The best part, as others have mentioned, was the staff especially Roman. They went above and beyond at all times... quite nice and efficient. Everyone was great - really appreciated.

Nice hotel in the middle of Brussels - short walks to almost all attractions and to the metro. Staff was very helpful. Many shops and restaurant close by. Our room was facing the plaza, so it was quite noisy until late at night. The room was a little small, but we managed... Note that all rooms require climbing at least one flight of stairs, but the staff helped us with our luggage.

Fabulous location! Not for tall people. Husband is 6'5" and could not stand up straight in part of the room and bathroom, but building is from 1600s. Also, the building is LOUD. Not external noise....internal noise of walking/talking. So, if you are a light sleeper bring a noise machine! Front desk always had wonderful staff!

Such a great find in Brussels! The hotel was spotless and peaceful, with a wonderful location close to everything but still quiet. The team was warm and attentive, and I felt really comfortable staying there on my own. Highly recommended for solo travelers!

I've given this 4 stars, mainly for the location. It's less than 5 minutes' walk to Grand Place, and with countless bars, cafes, and restaurants on its doorstep, you couldn't ask for a better location. It's less than 5 minutes from Brussels Central Station, so if you are getting the eurostar to midi station, it's one stop to central, and you are at the hotel.| However, it is a basic hotel, clean but pretty basic, so if you are after luxury or something more flashy, this is not the place for you. The staff are friendly and helpful.| We stayed in the family room with mezzanine level, which gave my daughter some privacy, but the low ceilings made it a bit difficult for her. All in all, perfect location, clean but basic.

Let me start this review by saying if you want a very basic hotel with no air conditioning or any perks then this might be the place for you. The location of the hotel is very convenient to all the must dos in Brussels so that is a plus. We were very disappointed as we booked this hotel based on google reviews and once we arrived, were highly disappointed. No where on the website does it state there is no air conditioning which was a huge problem for us. Being here in May the weather was very warm. There were 2 standing fans in the room and that’s what kept us sane for 2 nights. The overall upkeep of the hotel is subpar. The bathroom in our room smelled of mold as there is not proper ventilation. Thankfully we only had to stay 2 nights as if it were more we would have found a different place to stay. Also, the hotel staff said they could not communicate with me unless I had WhatsApp. Which I have never been told this before and thought that was very strange. They then said they could email me once my room was ready but I never received an email. Overall, this hotel is fine for a couple nights but I would highly consider booking elsewhere if you are staying more than that. Personally we will not stay here again.
