Hotel Agua Azul

At Reception there was no tourist tax to pay and no charge for the room safe. We were assured that all inclusive covered these issues.||We enjoyed 10 days at this hotel which is for adults only. Stag and hen parties are not permitted. The staff throughout were excellent. Signs of a good team.||Plenty of good quality food. Bottled water from the bar was freely available As was fresh coffee.||The entertainment was reasonable although the sound system was very loud.||The location is close to the Old Town and other shopping areas. ||This is a good quality all inclusive hotel which I highly recommend

We visited at the begining of June. It was a great hotel. Lovely food and drink. Wonderful staff. Nice clean room. Our balcony was over looking the pool. It was a 2 minute walk to the shops bars and restaurants. And 5 minutes to the beach. We are booking it again for next year. Thank you Hotel Aqua Azul team for this wonderful holiday

First time in Benidorm. My wife and I went for a week 17/06/2025-24/06/2025 and booked it because I saw it reviewed on Youtube by the Benidorm Enthusiast. I am happy to say this was a bit of luck on my part. The hotel is in a central location very near to the old town and is spotlessly clean. The staff are very efficient and pleasant. I booked a superior room (007). These rooms are all on the reception ground level. This room has all you need, TV, fridge, kettle with tea etc and a free safe deposit box. The spacious balcony has a table, two chairs and two sun loungers and gets the sun from 8am to 4pm. The food was varied and hot. Well presented and the restaurant tables well spaced. One major flaw was no air conditioning. That needs to be sorted. We were all inclusive. The wristband also operated the room door lock so no keys to lose. When AI the drinks are included but at meal times the water seems to be available in the restaurant only at breakfast. It is a machine dispensing ice cold water but at lunch and dinner no water available in the restaurant. You might have to queue at the bar to get what is then freely given. I would suggest the hotel make water availble for the 3 meals of the day. In Room 007 the wifi was very poor because it was extremely weak (0.8Mbps down -0.28Mbps up) but in the communal area downstairs next to the bar it was very strong (288Mbps down- 202 up) I spoke to the girl on reception who said she would pass it on but it never improved in the week. There are numerous charging points just outside reception to park & charge mobility scooter. It takes about 6 scooters side by side. We booked a "deluxe" scooter (never saw the difference betwee it and the standard one already at the hotel) for 120 euros +14 euros for insurance from Amigo24 who deliver to the hotel and the hotel booked if for us so all I had to do was pay the Amigo rep on arrival and hand over 20 euro cash deposit, which I got back later. The hotel is adult only and the age average at the time of our stay was late 60's so not a young person's place but they are more likely booking in the new town.|So all was fine and I would recommend this hotel and will likely book there again

There is a sun lounger problem if you don’t want to get up early and start queuing. It’s a shame because they have the room they just need to remove the pods and tables and chairs and they would fit a load more sun loungers. If you didn’t get up early then you wouldn’t get a bed until someone vacated theirs. The manager did remove towels from beds that hadn’t been occupied for a while which was good to see. The food was great. Location superb and the hotel was spotlessly clean. Sort the sun lounger issue out and it would be 5 out 5.

My wife and I stayed here May 2024...wonderful experience..|Room..food..staff were great. |I especially loved the handiness of the snack bar and pool bar. |Unfortunately this year both the snack and pool bar were closed apparently due to staff shortages...as a result of this had to queue for drinks at the bar every night...food was just ok.|Not impressed with the selection. |During our 10 night stay a lot of people went down sick...we noticed a least 4 ambulances at the hotel during the stay and my wife was very sick for 2 days.|The hotel manager blamed the sickness on a bug brought into the hotel...some of the female staff very abrupt with people. |On a plus side...Alihandro and David were excellent....not a good stay in general.

We took our daughter Faye she had a great time. The staff were friendly and amazing. Ray the entertainer was brilliant. We all had a great time. The manager was always around, checking everything, and he was very approachable if you needed anything. Food lovely, always a lot of choice. Very clean hotel.

Really disappointed! Pool area opens at 9:00am. All the sunbeds were taken by 9:01am. Not blaming the people who queue from 8:30, apart from those of course who reserve a bed and disappear for ages. It does say towels will be removed after 30 mins if not being used, but 10:30am now and some beds are still empty. Would definitely stop me returning, as nowhere near enough beds for the number of guests.

Great hotel .|Food spot on drinks and cocktails lovely .|Staff great apart from two . One young girl with brown hair very abrupt and one man who I think had just started and clearly didn’t want to be there . |No problem getting sunbeds for 6 people yes we stood in line from 8.40 but still got them . Some did push in but was told off . |Great location and would stay again .
