Hotel Aiguaclara

What a lovely property! We enjoyed our 2-night stay immensely. The reception staff (Susanna, in our case) was friendly and welcoming. Breakfast offered menu options as well as a nice buffet. A nice library where you can not only read or relax, you can play records on a turntable! The room was tastefully decorated, the bed comfortable. Highly recommend!

We stayed for 2 nights in October and wish it could have been longer, we had a room on the second floor that overlooked a square. Very helpful staff, great breakfast, liked the availability of an honor bar. Loved staying in a historic home, the entry way is dark which was off putting at first but it's in keeping with the original color scheme. Overall great stay!

Lovely hotel with wonderful staff who treat guests like family. Anything you need, directions to the beach, what’s around town, just ask. They really care about each guest. In the morning, they serve a fantastic breakfast. Eggs cooked to order, lots of fruit, coffee, juice, and more. Great way to start the day.

We had the most wonderful stay at Hotel Aiguaclara. The property is beautiful and conveniently located in the historic area of Begur. The breakfast was delicious and in a beautiful setting. Perhaps most noteworthy was the service. The team at the Hotel Aiguaclara were all so helpful with everything from taxis and restaurant recommendations to suggestions on where to hike. Thank you!

We loved our stay at this hotel! So fantastic to stay in such a wonderful historic building. Close to the centre of town, but in a quiet street. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was delicious and we had a wonderful evening meal in the restaurant as well.

I spent two nights in this wonderful hotel with my wife and can’t speak highly enough about the experience. From the friendly welcome to the extremely comfortable bed to the fine breakfast, this hotel is a must if you intend to visit Begur. The honesty bar is a lovely touch.

Such a unique experience staying in this beautifully restored building. Spacious rooms with fun decor . Service was friendly and helpful and an amazing breakfast including a menu and buffet. The location was ideal - loved the sound of the church bells - otherwise very peaceful.

We had a great stay in the hotel. Loved the shabby chic, eclectic styling and really appreciated all the kooky spaces to just enjoy a glass of wine and give the feet a rest. So much to see and really beautiful coastline. Plenty of choice for meals and drinks at any time of day and the staff and locals were all so welcoming. Sa Riera became a favourite… easy parking, lovely beach and super food. We would agree that the coffee is definitely below par (having had such good coffee elsewhere) and we would have preferred a much earlier breakfast. That said it was good with plenty of choice. We had a lovely suite looking out towards Begur but the bath/shower arrangement was poor and perhaps in need of a sympathetic revamp. The safe parking just around the corner was a godsend and well worth the extra. Would highly recommend both the hotel and the location and wouldn’t hesitate to return and to combine with a contrasting few days in Barcelona and/or Girona.

Great funky restaurant attached to a hotel. The food was delicious with lots of options to please everyone. The service is excellent and the ambience is very lively and hip. DJ on Friday nights makes it extra fun
