The only good thing about this hotel is its location. The building is old, which might be difficult to renovate, fair enough. But everything else was disappointing.
The room lacked basic amenities -no toothpaste, no toothbrush, no basic washing items. The shower was an old plastic one, and water flowed like it was coming from a punctured balloon. Even the dustbin was dirty, which is basic hygiene.
The restaurant staff had no basic etiquette. I asked for bread in the breakfast basket, and when I told the waiter to serve it when available, he vanished. Later, when I found him, he casually said - “Self service hai Sir.” Wow!!
Breakfast itself was underwhelming: paratha, pav bhaji, and idli, all overly spicy. Tea was loaded with sugar.
All this for Rs 5000 + GST per night with check-in at 2 PM. Honestly, even Lemon Tree at ₹4000 offers better comfort, cleaner rooms, decent breakfast, and staff who actually care about service.
