Hotel Ajanta

Honestly I don't t know what all the other people and traveller's mentioned and posted. I was a little sceptical after reading the reviews but I am pleasantly surprised with my stay at the this hotel. Its good that I went with my instincts. But , hey for 5k its a steal. I guess others spending their pennies and asking for the world....not happening. The hotel was clean. The rooms were clean. The toilets were clean with clean towels and toiletries provided. From the house keeping staff to the Room Service prompt and spot on with no problems and extremely helpful. The front office was also helpful especially Vibol at the desk. Breakfast was decent hotel food was good and very decent. The building looks a little dilapidated but its an old building doesn't really matter. Keep up the good work Team Ajanta. No one has asked me to put in this review or mention the hotel. This is my free thought.

The only good thing about this hotel is its location. The building is old, which might be difficult to renovate, fair enough. But everything else was disappointing. The room lacked basic amenities -no toothpaste, no toothbrush, no basic washing items. The shower was an old plastic one, and water flowed like it was coming from a punctured balloon. Even the dustbin was dirty, which is basic hygiene. The restaurant staff had no basic etiquette. I asked for bread in the breakfast basket, and when I told the waiter to serve it when available, he vanished. Later, when I found him, he casually said - “Self service hai Sir.” Wow!! Breakfast itself was underwhelming: paratha, pav bhaji, and idli, all overly spicy. Tea was loaded with sugar. All this for Rs 5000 + GST per night with check-in at 2 PM. Honestly, even Lemon Tree at ₹4000 offers better comfort, cleaner rooms, decent breakfast, and staff who actually care about service.

Needs a lot of improvement. Too much renovation required. Food - Very bad. Too less options in breakfast. No live counter. Not even having original butter or good brand ketchup. They don’t even have their own parking. Over priced. Yes, location is good. But nothing else.

Third class hotel .. water leakage on roof.. old property.. bed furniture all equipment is very dirty.. wall crack not maintained..

Honestly overall rating is a ONE. The breakfast "bread" STANK it was disgusting 🤢🤢. The service was BAD especially the receptionist who didn't't have any manners AT ALL. We 4 had to share the same room and when asked for an extra bed a single mattress was kept on the floor. Seriously wth very bad hotel I would not recommend it at all. If I would give it a 0 I would.

They have 2-3 small banquets for corporate or other events and it's budget friendly. The staff and manager here are really sweet and I liked their service. Been here twice for some corporate event. The food is also good they serve both veg and nonveg. Also it's a Queer friendly hotel.

Very old property.. room not maintained.. water leak roof any where.. wall creat so duty..
