Hotel Al Lago

Despite arriving early, the team were able to check us in and provide access to the room within 15 minutes. This was really helpful as we had a day of hiking planned for which we were optimally prepared. The room was lovely with a good adjoining bathroom and the bar was great for a drink in the evening. If I had the opportunity again I would probably try the restaurant too based on experiences elsewhere. The breakfast was great the following morning ahead of another early bus. Would absolutely book in to stay again.

I had a perfect stay during our journey through Andalusia. The surrounding area and the town itself are beautiful. The hotel is full of charm, the rooms had everything I needed, the food was good, and the service was exceptionally warm and friendly.

Last year we came to this restaurant twice and absolutely loved it. We decided to visit again for a birthday celebración. |The first course of salad was fine but when i was served the chicken it was oozing with blood. I sent it back and sadly 20 mins later it arrived back in the same condition. I was offered another meal but by then the others had finished so I declined. To be fair it was taken off the bill but sadly my birthday celebration didn’t turn out as planned!!!

A very pleasant, well run hotel in a white town location. The hotel has an excellent restaurant, to the extent we took all our main meals there.| Surrounding Andalusian countryside is beautiful, with the hotel providing an great base for visiting the province.

Lovely, accommodating staff who checked us in early and provided a great breakfast. Room, bathroom and value were all great. Very quick responses to questions ahead of our stay too.

Great location with spectacular views, twisty mountain roads nearby which are great for motorcycling, excellent food and comfortable rooms. Staff were very helpful accommodating our group and particular requirements. Good value too. Excellent!

Al Lago is a special place to stay for my husband and I . We have been coming every year since 2016 .|The location is stunning with views across the lake to Olvera and the beautiful rolling hills of Andalucía.|Mona and her team always offer a warm welcome.|We particularly enjoy eating outside on the terrace and sampling the excellent menu which never disappoints .

Stayed here a part of an On Foot walking holiday. Superbly comfortable rooms with a lovely view. Very friendly staff and host and the restaurant was superb
