This is a boutique hotel decorated to a high standard in almost regency style. Our room was spotlessly clean but a bit small. The staff are extremely helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was however disappointing and expensive for what you get. The overall cost of the hotel was however very reasonable. The hotel is perfectly situated for a visit to Livorno being only a few steps away from the theatre and very close to the main shopping streets and the historic centre. All told, a very pleasant and reasonably priced stay.

The location of this hotel is very good. The people who manage it are very nice. We had a "superior" room facing the courtyard. I took this room because I read that rooms facing the street could be noisy. It turned out that there was a large, noisy event going on in the property behind the courtyard on the Saturday night we visited, so it was not quiet., but I still slept OK. The bathroom of our room was nicely done in marble, but the shower stall was extremely small. It was also only suitable for people who are over 6 feet tall. The breakfast was a well done continental breakfast. The nicest part of the place was sitting in the courtyard for the breakfast.

Beautiful and elegant little hotel with charm and character. Very central, friendly staff and a beautiful little garden to relax and enjoy breakfast. Stayed in the Puccini room. Fairly small room but very comfy king-size bed, all well arranged and with a good sized bathroom . Aircon did not seem to work very well however and shower floor definitely needs a simple anti-slip mat for safety. So a few simple tweaks and I would rate it with 5stars.

Stayed one night before catching ferry to Bastia, but would have loved to have stayed longer. Small (Select?) hotel but very comfortable and tastefully decorated, each bedroom with its own unique style. Owner and staff were welcoming hosts, helpful and informative. Relaxing 'hidden' garden at the rear - ideal for food and drinks in warm weather.||Waited ages for a taxi from train station to the hotel as cruise ship trippers (cash cows.....) seemed to have commandeered almost the entire Livorno taxi fleet. Bus would have been a better option if we'd known - stopping two minutes walk from hotel at Piazza Cavour.

We arrived by ferry from Bastia, Corsica & called a taxi to take us to this quaint hotel! Glad we did too, it would have been a little too far to schlep our luggage through the port & town. Concierge was very polite, helpful and a kind soul. Room was clean, nice and quiet; overlooked into their garden. (Shower was demure & snug) The breakfast was good, very private; even though there were other guests.|||| Great recommendation for a local pizzeria. ..and it turned out, that was the BEST pizza we had for our entire trip of 8 days in Rome!

Small hotel situated right in the centre of Livorno. Very clean, small rooms but full of character. If rear location, close to all amnesties. nteresting character at reception during the night, who also serves breakfast. Family owned small hotel - 6 rooms in total . Very bespoke service.. Wifi not great.

Sweet, central and full of character and tassels. As a gluten free person I was only offered biscuit for breakfast though, and a rather sad boiled egg but great coffee!||If you are noise sensitive don't go for the front of the hotel, but a higher floor and at the back.

Stunning little hotel, immaculate throughout with the best garden i have seen in a hotel, sit out for breakfast or a night time drink. Wonderful friendly staff. Only little picky point was not a brilliant breakfast but other than that it is faultless.
