When you think of charming, this hotel is exactly what comes to mind. It is in a very good location. Even though it is not directly in the heart of Évora, everything in the city is within a five minute walk. The charm comes from the beds, the furniture, and the décor. Some guests might call it dated, but I strongly disagree. It is not old at all. The décor is more country style, very well maintained, and extremely clean.||The heating and air conditioning were the best we experienced on our entire trip. The bathroom had the best water pressure and overall functionality as well. We had a lovely balcony overlooking the outskirts of town. The property also offers on site parking, which is a major advantage because parking in Évora is very difficult.||The common areas are beautifully decorated and very comfortable, with plenty of quiet places to sit and relax. Based on all the research I did, I believe this is probably the best hotel in the city, and its location is excellent.||Breakfast was nothing exceptional, but it was perfectly adequate for our needs. The staff were kind, helpful, and responded to every request. I truly wish we could have stayed here for several more days.
